I would love to see a coach like Tressel in South Bend.

A true freshman drove your defense back on its heels down the field in your house when it mattered!

SCOREBOARD BIOTCH!!!
:cripwalk::cripwalk::cripwalk:

Oh my god. It's only been 2 games and I'm allready tired of everybody stroking Barkley's cock. The guy threw 1 nice pass down the seam in that last drive that's it. McKnight did everything else. I guess he deserves alot of credit for the way he handed the ball off. He didn't even complete 50% had less than 200 yards and zero TD's.

By the way Michigan's true freshman QB looked way better than Barkley did. He actually won the game with his feet and arm insted of handed the ball off.

As "That team up north" gets stronger under R.R.; and actually beats the Buckeyes in the only game that matters every season; then you might see some Ditch Tressel Bumperstickers. I applaud Ohio St for playing USC; hope they play a top ten OOC every year.

You Bucks Fans Should Consider Yourselves Lucky

You could have Brewster, he actually refused a 15 yd penalty on a KO. WHY?? Can't wait for the # on Cal., hope some were fooled by the W over a waay outmanned but well coached and gutty AF team. When you have white guys @ RB, WR, & DB, you know it's a school that prides itself on things other than foots.

he's not a good decision maker. not going on 4th and 1 from the 1 and instead kicking the FG was pure pussy.

look at what Pete did on 4/goal..he went for it. got the TD.

that's what a real coach does. Jim took the soft way out.

but OSU isnt going to do better than Jim, so keep him

While Joe did some great work, who got him the ball? Whether you want to admit it or not, Barkley does deserve some credit. Many QB's regardless of their experience do not deliver in these situations. So dismissing his work is ridiculous.

I recall several plays where Pryor's passes hit the floor to WIDE OPEN RB's or recievers just 2-3 yards in front of him!!!

As a Ohio State fan I am getting sick and tired of losing to the top ranked teams in the country and getting laughed at everytime they play a big game.I'm sick that he is living off his 2002 National Championship and he is so damn conservative it isnt even funny. The man can recruit but now Im starting to question that with the lack of speed on this team and big playmakers on offense. The defense is getting no rush and wearing down in the 4th quarter and you dont put no pressure on a Freshman with a corner blitz or something. Now granted this team really had no chance to win the national championship or anything like that because I know he is rebuilding this year but for christ sakes change your style a bit because what you are doing know isnt working in big games it might work with the lower teams in the BIG 10 but against the big boys you just dont have it.I know I am rambling on here but changes need to be made either to his staff or Tressel himself I guess we will wait and see and I know I will take some heat for writing this but who cares Im pissed off right now and I need to vent.

i agree with you... ohio st didnt bring in tressel to go 10-2 and lose the games that matter. Even if he did beat USC lsat night, does that erase the previous ass whoopings that OSU has had? Tressel was outcoached... simple as that... Even john cooper went 10-2 and 11-1 ...the only difference between tressel and cooper is that tressel beats michigan... but he should enjoy that streak while it lasts

Great pics. CLEARLY shows the Miami defender committing pass interference.

Barkley didn't do a damn thing on that drive, or really the whole game. He will be a good QB and made some nice throws, but it makes me sick to just hear about nothing but him after the game.

Tressel is just too damn conservative and the losing in big games has gotten to his head. He chokes and fucks up easy decisions. Have to go for it on that 4th and goal (like USC did early) and you have to get at least 3 points on that last drive.

NO WAY OSU should have lost that game last night. Sickening

I love how Pete say's "F. U.!!!" to opposing defenses by almost always going for it on 4th. It's definitely one of his many stamps on Trojan football.

I agree. Carroll never shows fear and always has confidence that his team will come through. Going for it on that 4th and 1 around midfield was gutsy. Carroll is a great coach and a great recruiter. He gives the impression of a smug dickhead but you have to respect him - I love his coaching style.

Another Luckeye fan in the house?

"Clearly" shows PI? :think2:
What are you looking at? Take off those glasses you're wearing!

Without Terry Porter, the Luckeyes don't win the 2002 National Championship.

You're missing the point. Barkley is getting accolades not for his stats, but his composure & maturity.

4th quarter, down 5, , top 10 ranked opponent, 2nd & 19 on their own 5, 106K + screaming down your neck, first college road game ever......Barkley: "No problem, let's do this shit!"

He deserves a shit ton of credit. He just freaking turned 19 on Tuesday! Read what his teammates had to say about him postgame. To a man they marveled at his leadership. 5th year seniors could not believe his composure.

Stats-wise this game was a throwaway but great QB's are not just guys who throw the ball or hand it off. They are leaders, they make the other 10 guys in that huddle believe.

BTW, Forcier looked great also but you don't see the difference between between beating ND at home vs. going into the 'Shoe and leading your team on what amounts to a 95 yard game winning drive in the 4th Q? :think2:

Are you serious when you post this?

The Miami defender isn't even looking back for the ball. He face is buried in the OSU players chest with the ball in the air. Clearly pass interference

This is 100% spot on! Barkley is a natural born leader, and when all is said and done...he will be one of the great QBs to ever have been a Trojan!Well said! :toast:

Alright, he didn't do much. A junior high QB can hand it off or throw a 5 yard dump pass. He made one good throw on the drive to a wide open receiver. I'm not saying he sucked all night - he made a few nice throws. But all the people heaping praise on him like he played like a God last night are ridiculous. The O line and Joe Mcknight are waaaaaaay more responsible for that final drive and all you hear is Barkley this and Barkley that. He was no better than average at any time, IMO.

if you would have told me before the game that the turnovers would be 1-1, and pryor would be 11/25 with 36 yds rushing, I would have said we got killed..

The O-line and defense played their best game in a long time, and we were in every position to win, couldn't ask for anything more..

we needed a huge game for pryor and to win the turnover battle.. those didn't happen and we lost..

Extremely proud with how the buckeyes played, and congratulations to the Trojans as they played an incredible game.. maybe we'll do it again in Jan..

... and Barkley is a prick..lol..
