TRS I know it was a joke, I just thought it was a funny call back, you guys are lucky to have found someone you want to spend the rest of your lives with, I'm sure I'll find that someday. But really Sex will not be the determining factor there has to be that mental compatibility. I'm sure if something happened to you or your wife where you were never able to have sex again it wouldn't be an issue because you have that mental fit. That deep rooted connection that ties your souls together forever.
With my ex it was never "OK hun, I'll back late I'm going out to pick up some side action" It was just an understanding that if something came up we weren't going to let a meaningless romp ruin everything else.
In the long run we just didn't have that deep seated mental connection that you and your wife share.
