How Are They Going To Force Sterling To Sell??

No doubt, Sterling has been all over the map. I, personally, think it's impossible to know what he does. His interview was beyond strange. I am still not sure if that "why would I fight this"/apology to the owners was sincere or his attempt to kiss the owners asses, in hopes that they would let him stick around. His lack of an apology leads me to believe he just doesn't give a damn at all. That attitude leads me to believe he would at least attempt to drag this out in the courts (most likely unsuccessfully).

I agree, I'm definitely not as confident as I was at the beginning. But I still think he goes out without a fight if the owners vote. Especially if it's 29-0. I mean, how can he win a court battle when 29 out of 29 of his partners want him out of the Association. I can't see how any court would interfere and force this man in to their Association. I think this $2.5 million thing is just for show and probably his hatred for Silver. Why these guys think this applies to the forced sale is beyond my comprehension, lol.

You're confusing two separate arguments. I'm not surprised.

I am not confusing anything.

You're the imbecile pretending that Sterling is going to not sue after the owners vote.

Mind you, while pretending Sterling is going to litigate a fine that he has no intention of paying (and is less than his attorney's fees).

That's why I keep saying, the owners haven't voted yet... lmao. We don't know what he will do until that happens. I for one don't think he will do anything and will agree to sell the team.

Sterling has sought the counsel of famed antitrust lawyer Maxwell Blecher to represent him in a fight against the NBA’s attempt to remove his franchise ownership rights for controversial comments made last month. A letter drafted by Blecher was sent to the league’s legal counsel outlining Sterling’s refusal to pay the $2.5 million fine imposed by Commissioner Adam Silver and that litigation over the matter was imminent.

Well Sterling himself said he wouldn't... not sure who's opinion is more credible?

Notice, you ignore the underlined part.

Gee, I wonder why?

Also "over the matter" is referring to the "removing the franchise" part.

As detailed in multiple news outlets.

Uh, Sterling's comments were before he hired the lawyer and sent a letter to the NBA's Counsel

Idiot.

Well his comments were about selling the team. You are still confusing him suing the NBA for the $2.5 million fine with him suing for being forced to sell by the owners. Two different arguments.

Uh, no I'm not.

Sterling isn't preparing to sue over any fine. And if instead of typing your dumbass blather here, you familiarized yourself with the topic, you would see that.

Well I guess we will see when the owners vote. It's fun watching your arguments evolve as I make you look like an idiot.

Except for the fact that 2 different law professors have detailed the elements of the litigation Sterling intents to pursue regarding the forced sale of the team.
