I make more in a month than they made in entire years growing up. I have bought both of them their dream vehicles (57 chevy for my dad and a jaguar for my mom).
I busted my ass, got good grades, supported myself in college while playing a Division I sport (which I was a national champion) taking 16+ credits each semester, add on about 40+ hours of practice time a week, throw in the social schedule and I guess you could say I am just conditioned to work hard.
So why will I be asked more to support more social government programs for the unemployed, the welfare recipients, mothers with 12 kids, etc? I am not hating on folks that are not as fortunate as I to have been given the tools in life to succeed,....

gasman should be interested in helping make a better country for everybody, so should everyone else. republican mindset is me, me, me, me, me. what can i do for me, how can i better me instead of thinking logically and looking at the big picture. what are you rightside, you are nothing. you are 1 of 300 million people in the US, your existence is meaningless. if everyone tried to improve the country as a whole, instead of just 1 guy looking out for himself, you'd see a drop in crime, higher moral and ethical values, and higher quality in life.

He puts approx 67k per year into the economy.
3 people make approx 22.5k per year thanks to Joe.
Now Obama becomes president and you tax him 50k, and he only has 50k available to spend per year. One more person can be supported on welfare.
Now you can only support 2 people at approx 25k per year.
Oh, and wait, now those folks making 25k per year take home even less because their taxes are ALSO higher, meaning they spend less as well.
So, by simple deduction, the more you tax, the less money is in the economy, meaning less job earning potential, meaning more unemployment, the need for more government programs and taxes along with it, and so on and so on.

You're living in fantasy land. He already pays so the public schools can train and get these people off the streets. Our public school system pays more per student then any other country. We have student loans and scholarships to put people through school. Yet, you still have to watch your back at valleyfair. The real problem is, that when someone who is given the chance at a free education so they don't have to end up on the streets drops out of school, there is a mindset that it's not their fault that they're poor, it's the fault of Gas Man and rightside, because they don't want to pay more in taxes. In fact, the system encourages poor people to have more kids so they can get more money, and the cycle of poverty continues.
Hey Gas Man, I think it's a travesty that the freeloaders are having all the babies while the hard workers are not. To me that obviously means we give them too much.
