What an embarrassing response. The poll isn't academia vs non-academia. It's simply having a college degree or not having a college degree. Someone will have to explain these polls to me which show everyone except the two R leaders, Trump and Cruz, would beat Hillary in a general election. Jeb polling at 3% beats Hillary, but Trump and Cruz (40 and 25 or so, respectively), somehow don't?

That's some interesting math. Almost like saying that the R base wants to elect a candidate they hope will lose. It'd be believable if it was the R leadership, but not the pissed off voter base.

If you're a doctor, lawyer, accountant, successful executive, engineer, etc. (anything practical and productive outside of the classroom), a higher education is a good thing. Unfortunately, many academic subjects and fields become a hindrance (both to the individual with the degree and society at large) because of all the brainwashed classroom nonsense where common sense goes out the window, i.e., Pavian. Sad to say, these types of insulated people are running and ruining our country.

To wit, your poll is meaningless. A more accurate and telling poll would be a breakdown of voters based on what they majored in. Now THAT would be very revealing and vindicate my entire theory on academia: the good, the bad and the ugly.
