Purdy has better surrounding talent but Philly is up at the top too. Purdy was the last draft pick from Iowa St.

This kind of analysis is a little bit deceiving though

The surrounding talent ranks/production are partially a byproduct of the QB

How's Bryce Young and Carolina doing these days. Well, not good because he has no talent around him. That statement is taking credit away from Purdy who's having a great season so far.

This is 100% true. The difference is that Brady never had any "great" talent around him for those first five years.

Gronk, Edelman and Moss (one and a half years) came much later.

Every time I hear this Purdy discussion Brady comes to mind.
