Don't worry... I'm going to learn this game this year... Hopefully you all will be able to help me out with the ins and outs of this league that statistics can't show... such as the fact that Edmonton is one of the more difficult places to go and win due to, I'd assume crowd noise if nothing else. May cost me some money trying to figure it out, but in the real long run, this is a game I believe I can cap.
Actually the crowd in Edmonton isn't that loud.over the years the fact that Edmontom is just so damn good year after year is the reason they win.And Ottawa gets their ass handed to them more often than not when they head out to Edmonton.Not playing the game but hope the Gades can keep it within the number or maybe actually win the game
Quick question about something I just heard in this CFL game... Ottawa had the ball on their own 9 3rd and I believe it was 10... but it was long enough... they elected to take a safety and take back some field position... is this a common happening in the CFL? Seems like this tactic could be useful in the CFL because handing a team the ball on, for example the opposing 40 yard line almost assures at least 1 point, so giving up the 2nd point for 35-40 or maybe even more in field position might be worthwhile? Just wondering...
Edmonton's offense has been on the field the entire game because Ottawa keeps going 2 and out and can't protect Joseph worth a sh^t... I'll take my chances that the Eskimos turn in on for at least a couple more scores in the 2nd half and win the 2nd half easily as well.
89 yards for Ottawa in the 1st half... I have no idea how they're gonna score in the 2nd half, as their offense hasn't done a damn thing since I've been home from work. If Ottawa covers this 2nd half they cover it due to a defensive or special teams score, just like their first TD.

Ottawa's offensive line is a mess... I know that I believe it's their left tackle that's missing. It's not their defense that's doing a poor job, it's the offense. It's horrible... at least their line is. It seems like there's enough talent on this offense, but the line is horrific. Eskimos -4 in the 2nd half looks really good if they keep sacking Ottawa's QB.
