If you are a skeptic about the IP addresses, either contact a local computer science guy, or watch when at least two of our names (usually mine and BigBenGodSend, but sometimes Budworth22) are on at the same time. If we were on one computer, it would be physically impossible to have both names logged in at once. This should difuse all doubt. And side note to Baker: well put about the parlays. The only way that parlays really pay is when you hit a massive percentage. Obviously if you go 3-0 on a weekend and have a 3 team parlay together, it's going to pay more than 3 individual plays, but on the same token... a 2-1 weekend is a winning weekend... just keep that in mind before parlaying stuff together very often.
As promised, Roxy, here are the plays for tonight....
Orlando (-2) @ Chicago (-105, 4 units)
Chicago (+4) vs. Orlando (+117, 4 units)
Orlando/Chicago under 101.5 (-105, 4 units)
Considering some other plays, but I will likely lay off instead. Check back for 2nd half wagering starting around 9:30. I'll give live updates on the Preds/Rush game if anyone wants it. We're rooting for Preds by 3... that'd be a nice bonus for the rest of the weekend... 42-39 does it. And if I nail this middle, knowing that not everyone got comparable numbers to this, :toast: ... beers for all. Winning 8 units when you're only trying to recover your money in very nice indeed... But I won't keep my hopes up. Rooting for the Preds by any number as a fan and the under.
I love these guys on arenafootball.com... apparently, Orlando lost to Columbus last week (should be Dallas) and Kenny McEntyre now plays offensive specialist (should be defensive specialist)... oh yeah, according to the article, both teams played Columbus last week too... Sorry, I probably shouldn't mock these guys, but it's funny how bad the editing is in the story.
Couple notes on the other games if anyone is considering action... Georgia is in a bit of a rough spot without their two fullbacks playing. Both will be out tonight @ Austin. John Fitzgerald is playing lights out for the Wranglers right now, but tonight's test will be his toughest, going against a really solid Georgia team that is set up just like Predator teams of old and last year's New Orleans team that won the Southern Division. Interesting game to watch tonight, as all signs point to a Georgia romp... but Georgia's offense hasn't been able to get it going most of the year. This might be a good time for rookie offensive specialist Troy Bergeron to have a 4 or 5 TD bustout game. All of the hype around this kid is good... Can't wait to see him play on TV for the first time in a few weeks when they play Orlando.
In regards to the New Orleans/Tampa game... This is an ugly game to cap. New Orleans simply doesn't lose at home. Andy Kelly has been lights out. Aaron Bailey is making some sick catches (including 2 incredible TD catches last week against Philly). Just some ridiculous stuff going on for the Voodoo. Defense played well against Graziani and gang last week. This team is ranked #1 in all of the power polls for a reason. The problem? Tampa might be #3 (with Orlando and possibly Georgia between them... sick... 4 teams in the South are amongst the best 5 in the AFL). Marcum gets his boys up for these games they have no business being in. This is one of these that he knows shouldn't be overly close. Friday night in New Orleans? Going to be a massive home field advantage for the Voodoo. Shane Stafford has almost no targets to throw the ball to and the defense has been worn down their last two games against Austin and Orlando in the 2nd halfs. All the pressure for the Storm is going to be on Clif Dell and David Saunders (who is still banged up himself) to make Stafford look good without Toliver and Solomon. If Tampa's offense gets going early, the defense is good enough to hold New Orleans a couple times. But if New Orleans jumps out early on Tampa, it's going to be a very long game in the Bayou for the Storm, just like their trip was last year, when Stafford threw three pick sixes and was replaced by Pat O'Hara. If we see Stoney Case tonight for the Storm (backup QB), this one will be one of my favorite games of the year to watch... Always love watching Tampa get routed.
Best of luck on your action.
