Lemme rephrase that... I've seen it once before. It was actually in my first ever Arena Football game. Orlando played Arizona in the Arena Bowl back when Ben Bennett was QBing, Barry Wagner was still a kid, Hunkie Cooper was the best offensive threat in the game, and Durwood Roquemore was the modern day Kenny McEntyre for the Preds... for Arizona, Bonner was a rookie, Hunkie Cooper was just becoming a bust out player, and Danny White was in his first couple years with the team. That was back in the 14 game schedule, when there were 2 preseason games, expanded rosters and blah blah blah... To put it in better perspective, Jay Gruden was quarterbacking under Tim Marcum... when Marcum had blonde hair.... Anyway...
Arizona scored on their first possession of the game, but for some reason, the kicker was in the locker room. Arizona lined up to go for two in a peculiar fashion... Bonner was in the shotgun. He tried dropkicking the ball... in the Arena Bowl of all places....
So it's the first regular season dropkick I've seen attempted and the first since.... geez, I guess that was '93.
