I'll find the thread where I said that the BYU ML was a great bet. I don't see why no one saw that? Gresham was and is a HUGE component of OU's offense.....

Why am I the only poster on this forum that is constantly called a homer? That's the only thing I don't understand? Yes, I'll go to my grave loving UT, but I'll god darned tell it like it is, not only with TX, but with the entire BIG XII.

your idea on betting unders is good too, especially in big 12 games. last year, it took the books a few weeks to adjust to the high scoring. now the numbers are adjusted to public perception of last year's results. my fucking ass hurts right now.

But I think by next week they'll over correct. I need some help with the Sooner faithful in making us knowledgeable on this backup qb who is now thrusted directly into the starter position. What's his pedigree? Is he a true frosh or redshirt Freshman? Is he someone, who with a week's worth of 1st team reps, can make it happen? I'm extremely curious, as OU's at home next week to an inferior team and he could gain a lot of confidence. My guess is the line is OU-20ish?

Honestly OU fans, this is something I would've never dreamed nor wished would've happened (Gresham AND Bradford). This is detrimental to Gresham's family (they are banking on the amazing talent). Bradford has his choice as to what he may do in the future, but Gresham, he doesn't. We down here in Texas are truly surprised he (Gresham) passed up the sure $$$$. I'm not degrading anyone, but even the Gresham's will tell you that they could use the money immediately. I have a friend who's son is extremely close with Gresham (they text multiple times weekly). I hope for the young man that Stoops handles the miniscus tear with respect, and doesn't rush him back for the better of the team. It'll go a long way in showing future recruits where Stoops' priorities are. Of course, what Stoops has (a ton of balls and win at all costs), Mack has the opposite (wish the team that just kicked him in the balls all the best, and really mean it). We Alumni at Texas wish Mack had more of Stoops in him. We're hoping last year's actions by the BCS/ Coaches Poll, etc stay in Mack's memory longer than his gentleman like behaviour. He needs to run up the score a la Stoops in the BIG XII Championship Game. He must creat a "fuck you" attitude. Hopefully he's on his way. GL all....If we could only give a bit of Mack to Bob and a bit of Bob to Mack. Talk about Jekyll and Hyde. Could you imagine Bob with all this current talent? I can't. I'm jealous of what it might look like. Stoops has said he LOVES Sergio Kindle. Happy Labor Day gents...

the backup qb didn't look too bad to me. he was hit a couple times, and i didn't see him make one of those dumb ass passes that gets picked. someone needed to step up and make a play, but no one did. there were a couple passes we could have caught, but didn't. the coaching staff not calling a timeout inside the 1 yard line and the play clock running out will haunt my sleep for awhile. ou should have played this game in norman but opted for a 2 million dollar payday. this is what happens when you play a quality opponent on day one and you have some kinks to work out.

somebody, anybody, why oh why did we take a delay of game penalty at the goal line?

stoops starting to get some tough questions. he got ragged on for his decision to kick a 54 yarder. personally, i felt ou's chances of getting 14 yards were about as slim as making the kick so whatever on that one. i love stoops, becsause the days of john blake aren't that far gone, but he has certainly seemed to have lost something the last couple years. maybe a little pressure will be good for him.

Colorado is horrible guys. Hawkins sucks balls. I'm not sure what kind of team yall thought Coach Hawkins concocted over the summer that was any different than the last 3 years?

I'm sure you have had plenty of practice. Your family must be really proud.

I believe ballsucking and family go hand in hand in your household....seeing where you live....asshole. You've really taken this OU loss hard bellyputter. There's more to life than OU football you know. Go outside and smell the roses instead of sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for Cris's lines to come up. You're a loser.

Luckily I kept the wagers pretty small in the first week until I see more of these teams. There's a lot of season to go guys. And I see a few good situational spots for next week.

jblonghorn...It's no use even posting in my threads again. When I got home Saturday night and saw that you started a hundred threads on the Sooners, you were officially put on ignore. Something I should have done last season. You've got to grow up kid.

The sooners will bounce back, the season is not over. They can still win the big 12 and play for a nat championship.

I think OU will be fine once their offensive line starts to come together. Meanwhile the defense will have to carry the team. What I'm afraid is going to happen is the Sooners will lose two or three games before they get things figured out. But they could play the part of the spoiler in the Big 12 this season. I'm still mad at some of these teams I played on for being undisciplined and seeminly unprepared in their opening games like the Sooners, Colorado and Oregon. It may take OU awhile to get things going with a new QB. But I expect Colorado and Oregon to play much better in the second week.

GS, just wanted to make a mention of this. A&M, even though playing a scrub team, Sherman already seemed to have started to turn the team around. Tanehill did not line up at receiver very often and they have seem to have a true freshman beast of a receiver in Nwachukwu (nicknamed easy). And seem to have a beast of a running back in the true freshman christine michael. I wasnt able to make the game, but listened to 100% of it. Friends who were at the game told me how much faster the defense looked. The odd thing was when they put in the backup QB it was Dorman who went in not Tannehill. And A&M had a ton of penalties.

Bad week this week, Bradford will only be out couple of weeks, hopefully Stoops doesnt try to bring him back before he is ready and really screw him up. Cant believe how bad colorado and oregon played. gl the rest of the season

Been around here for long long time. Dont post very often. GoSooners i for one thank you for ALL your time and efforts in CFB. You know that these teams that schedule a "real" tester put most everything on the line, as Always some make it through, but usually someone bites the dust. Oklahoma IMHO has NO chance to win the Big 12, much less the National Champs. Big game Bob has won ONLY that one Big game way back when the Sooners shut down FSU and Stoops gave em a Safety at the very end of the game.

I'll be keeping an eye on Texas A&M. I still don't know if they were that good or NM was just that bad. I have a feeling that NM is that bad. I have heard that the Aggies were going to have more speed on defense this year. I'm just not sure yet if I can trust Sherman. I think he's crazy for not getting Tannehill more involved in the game. That kid is still young. If Sherman isn't careful he'll transfer on him. He's too good not to be playing.
