BOL My Man

OT, but have you seen any prelim. lines or projections? I see KU going to Insight, and it looks like my GG will be the opposition. If so this may be my biggest bet of the yr.! Hawks will crush Mn., they'll put up at least 50 or more IMO. Thoughts. :ohno:

Silver...I hadn't even thought about where Kansas would go. The surprise win over Missouri was a big win for the Fightin' Mangino's. But I wouldn't totally dismiss Minny if they get enough points in this game. The GG had a pretty decent defense in the first half of the year. But just looking at their form I could tell that they were wearing down in their last few games having to play Michigan, Wisky and Iowa in back to back games. You never know, with a month off and time to recharge their batteries, they might be able to come back a little to their early season form. But there are a lot of seniors on this Kansas team. They won't want to go out with a loss.

GS..I thought you had a big play on Ari?
Cash...I'm going to have a small play on Arizona. But it won't be a big one for me because of the instate rivalry aspect. And I'm not crazy about the way the line is going up in this game. I think anything 10 or under was good. But now I'm seeing it at 10.5 and 11 in a few books. I may wait and see if I can find a 10 somewhere. I hate to buy a half a point on a small play. Although buying a half point saved my ass last week in the Nevada game. The game isn't until tonight. So I'll wait a little bit on this one.

Uconn (-2.5) over Pitt **
Two teams that are alot alike. Especially on defense. But UCONN plays a more sound brand of football relying on their running game and playing mistake-free football. UCONN has a (+4) turnover margin while Pitt has a (-6). Which doesn't bode well on the road against a good rested UCONN defense coming off a bye week while Pitt is coming off a hard fought emotional win over West Virginia. I just wonder how much the Panthers have left in their tank after playing two big games back to back against Cincy and West Virginia. UCONN is shooting for an 8-4 season. And they have 12 senior starters on this team that will want to go out at home with a win. Both teams run the ball well and play good defense. But according to the numbers UCONN just does it a little better. I think they get it done here.

Delta...I hope your Huskers get a good bowl. The Alamo Bowl looks like a possibility. And Nebraska just about owns that bowl. BOL today.:toast:
We're all but locked in for the Gator Bowl against Clemson, the athletic department has already sent out ticket request forms. I hope OU can take care of business tonight, I hate Mizzu and I want to see an OU-Florida title game! BOL today!

That's good news. Any Jan.1 bowl game in Florida is a nice vacation.

UCLA (+33) over USC *
UCLA hasn't allowed more than 34 points scored on them at home in league play all year. Dewayne Walker is an excellent defensive coordinator. And USC isn't exactly an offensive juggernaut. Between two rivals I think this line is too high. All USC needs to do is win to go to the Rose Bowl. They don't need any style points here. UCLA covers.
