Yes...I very much think NCST will keep it close in this game. And yes I do think NCST is talented..QB Russell Wilson has really grown as a QB. He is a very accurate passer..And he's a mobile QB. Which has been giving opposing defenses fits for the last few weeks. I also think NCST's defense has been playing good football for the last couple of weeks. This team had some early season injuries that held them back in the first half of the season.. But they are now past all of that and playing their best ball and peaking at the right time. North Carolina on the other hand may be having a QB controversy this week between Sexton and little used Yates, who has seen action in just one series in the last month. They didn't get much production out of the QB position last week. So I'm curious to see what they do this week. In my opinion NC hasn't been quite the same since they lost their star WR/KR Brandon Tate. And it's catching up with their offense. I like my chances in a low to mid scoring game of covering a double digit spread between two rivals.Do you like nc state to keep it close because of a rival factor or do you think they are talented??
I believe butch davis sees winning the acc as a very important step in his recruiting to eventually get his team to "national championship" contention in years to come.
gl this week
Man, that's a tough question...I can only think of one CUSA game this year where I actually gave points. And that was Tulsa at home..I feel much better getting the points in this conference, as in Houston last week, than giving points, because of the overall bad defense that is played. It makes this conference very hard to cap. So in UTEP's case I would be more apt to take the points. Especially since Houston is coming off a big win over Tulsa..UTEP may not be an easy team for Houston to get a blowout on because of UTEP's turnover margin of (+13), which is very good. It means their probably not going to give Houston many gifts like Tulsa did last week. Plus I think the public might have bet this line up a little too much. The -17 number is probably more of a public knee-jerk reaction to the 70-30 win over Tulsa than the actual strength of these two teams....BOLjust wanted say, always ck your writups out and plays. how do you feel about utep
I think it's too close to call...Something tells though that Oregon State isn't going to be going to the Rose Bowl this year.GS, any quick thoughts on Oregon State @ Arizona? Seems a lot of sharps are on Arizona.
Lots of sharps on NC State too. I'm using that game as my "get out of the hole" game. BOL GS. You going to the game in Norman tomorrow night?
jb...I think I'm just going to keep it light this week. I might possibly have a late game today to play if the lines start moving my way. But I don't really see a whole lot of games worth playing this week.are you posting your 1* plays as well?
You seem to hit those running dogs. Just curious.
I know alot of people like Texas Tech. And I can understand why. But I've been watching the Sooners pretty close, and I can tell you that OU is playing much better on both sides of the ball than the public thinks. And people should have gotten a small hint of how improved and aggresive the OU defense is playing just by their first half play of the Nebraska game at home a couple weeks ago. OU always starts slow on defense every year and then plays at a much higher level at this point in the year. I think you'll see much more defense played tonight than expected. I also like the under 75..Unless OU blows TT out by 3 or more TD's, that number is too high. Also mark my words, the OU defense will get to Harrell and sack or hurry him a few times in this game.Dont listen to me, but I like texas tech plus the points and the over 75 total points
