I ABSOLUTELY love Oklahoma State + over Oklahoma next week. CFB is seemingly all about emotion this time of year. Sooners were super geeked to play Tech, but they'll be hardpressed to bring their "A" game back-to-back weeks. You know Okie State is going to bring the entire kitchen sink in this one as this is easily their biggest game of the year. Line will be inflated too due to Oklahoma blowing out the "#2" team in the nation for everyone to see in front of their own eyeballs on national TV. Everyone will think that OU is invincible. I'll take the rested home dog playing with revenge.
How you play this game is how strongly you think that OSU can beat OU outright. If you feel they'll beat OU outright then a line like 3 or 4 won't bother you...But if your like me and thinks OSU will cover but may not win, then I'm probably going to need a line that is above 4. Preferably around 4.5 or higher. Something tells me they'll set it at a hard number to get some action on both sides..Something like 6.

CoachLT...My slightly older brother from another mother..It's always a better place when you come into the College forum..Hopefully our two favorite teams will meet at the end of the year for all of the marbles..For entertainment purposes I think this is what alot of people would like to see. It would be a great game between two great conferences...There's still alot of football left to be played for both teams..So all we can do is cross our fingers.

UCONN-South Florida (UNDER 49) *
Offensively, neither of these teams are offensive juggernauts. And UCONN only averages scoring a little over 19 ppg on the road..Take the 39 points away that they scored last week against a weak Syracuse defense and they only score 15 ppg on the road. And UCONN gives up only 19 ppg on defense. If you take the uncharacteristic game last week where USF gave up 49 to Rutgers in a very turnover prone day by USF, they also give up just 19 ppg on defense. And more importantly USF has only averaged scoring 22 ppg in their last 5 games..And I think this is the important stat here because USF has really been banged up on the OL and RB positions in the last month, which has led to their losing 4 out of their last 5 games...Without a running game to speak of, Grothe will really have to have a huge game passing to surpass the 24 points of their share of the total. On the other side UCONN has RB Brown, who is the nations leading rusher..So I can see a clock eating ground oriented attack tonight. USF is pretty good against the run. So I don't expect UCONN to score at will either in this game..It takes two teams to get to this total. And I don't see a blowout by either team. Which should favor the under play.
