Hoffenheim the better team and on an uptrend with the new signings. Kaiserslautern is slumping right now..not a godd away team anyway and with key injury problems for today.
Nürnberg- Leverkusen: Leverkusen pk,-0.5 @ 1.90
Nürnberg with injury problems, while Leverkusen playing well at the moment and is the best away team in league with an amazing 7 wins and 2 draws.
Hannover- Wolfsburg: Wolfsburg pk @ 1.97
it s a derby. Wolfsburg with big signings at last moment should have enough potential to get at least a draw.

Gladbach- Stuttgart: under 3 @ 1.83
two bottom teams here....you can already smell the fear on the pitch...not much of a game expected as both will be afraid of losing. Stuttgart since winterbreak is suddenly a low scoring team having 3 times in a row only 1-0 or 0-1...Gladbach twice 1-0 and a home loss 1-3 which went goal wise out of hand in the end....3 is a big number here.

Dortmund- St.Pauli: Dortmund -1.5 @ 1.92 !! 2 units!!
Dortmund the best team in league and although they are coming of two draws in a row they have been dominant in both games and received two late equalizers. there are no sign that the winning traing will be stopped today.
St. Pauli picked as one of the main candidates for relegation is off to an surprising start after winter break. they are skill wse still not a great team and have their strength in team efford and fighting spirit. that exactly will be the problem today as it is a major let down sport for them:
they followed home win over bottom team Gladbach with a midweek "in-town" derby win over Hamburger SV...they won very luckily on Wednesday, but they won the derby for the first time in 33 years. leaving in Hamburg i can tell you that this win makes not only their season, but also the upcoming years for them (at least on an emotianal side) here in the city...the win was just 3 days ago and i can assure you there is not much seroius preparation going on for today s match.
Besided the emotional let down it s also a let down spot considering the points they recently gained vs. relegation..standing seems to be relatively ok for the first time since agaes and an away game against the dominant league leader is not the match you get up for. On the injury/suspension side wedneday s goal scorer Azamoha is out injured which is a big blow on offense and Zambrano (defensive midfield) is suspended, which also not help in this game.
Lot of points are going in Dortmund s favour here, but even more reasons going against St.Pauli, which makes this my top play of the day.

Hamburg played well so far after winter break, but the 0-1 mid week loss to St.Pauli stopped them and was a big emotional blow. Actually they were dominating the game which makes the loss even worse, on the other hand shows me that the team has the potential to bounce straight back in today s derby vs. Bremen.
I think they have to give something back to their fans in with a win today over rival Bremen wednesday s loss should be at least partly forgiven..so they will be in the match from the first minute on which should help them to get the home win.
Bremen meanwhile is struggling big time this season and is actually in relegation trouble...although the teams seems to have the old potential i see no real sign of it. they just playing pathetic football have their usual weakness on defense and lack any offensive creativity. if not for Pizzaro on offense there is nothing going for the team..even in a rivalary game like today.
stats also point to an under, but i will not playing it for the derby /rivalary character of the match

Leverkusen off a great 4-0 away win in EuroLeague playing well right now in league especially at home...their main strength is a strong offense and that goes exactly against the weakness of Stuttgart.
Stuttgart is struggling big time right now sitting in 17th spot. they had 2 weeks ago an away win over last place gladbach, but followed that not with a solid home performance (as you would expect with some extra confidence), but with a awful display and 1-4 home loss to Nürnberg..this is a big sign of weakness for me.
they played on thursday in euro league and lost 1-2 at Benfica, which on the surface is a good result, but watching the game they were very lucky (after a 1-0 lead) not to loose it by 3 or 4 goals...once Benfica pressured (and Leverkusen will do the same today on home ground), Stuttgart s defense made terrible mistakes..this team is still skaken up big time and i dont see them getting a surprise today.
Easy home win.

will stay away from the last game. Schalke should win, but i am a bit concerned that they might be due for a let down after the Champ league draw at Valencia and with Gladbach having a new coach.
i am also leaning over on the total,but again that comes down to Schalke..if they show up it will go over as Gladbach will score at home...if not it could be a surprise 1-1 or 1-0...but if you need action on the game, over might be the best choice.
