I'm giving Stuttgart a shot today at +350 ... very impressed with their play in Hannover (despite losing) and haven't lost to Bayern here in a league match in 5.5 years

i absolutely dont believe in the new coach...they rebounded off their big wins 7-0 gladbach 6-0 bremen and now 5-1 odense aalways with even bigger crisis...labaddia trends to play very open football and that s not good today against a bayern which will be hungry after dortmund s loss yesterday

yes, latest is that from the regular starting line up Mohamad (central defender) and Brecko (left defender) will be out...today Jajalo was added to the list..he is an option for substutution..so not great but could be worse. McKenna is only reserve anyway...at the moment it looks like that s it. to judge the influence: defense will be weakend, but compared to what Köln played in big parts of first part of season not by much...they got Eichner from Hoffenheim who is solid. only problem i could see that the only problem is that the defense did not play together so far, but that might not be too big of a factor after the winter break..potential defense for Köln : Eichner Geromel Pezzoni Andrezinho (Schorch).

Kaiserslautern has too big suspensions in Tiffert and BUguera...so end of story...i think the line, especially regarding the history between club (very positive Kaiserslautern) is preety much right at 1.90...if it moves further towards Kaiserslautern i will jump on Köln (if there is no addition to the flu list)..will keep you updated

a split to start second half of season

Saturday

Wolfsburg- München: München -0.5,-1 @ 1.87

Wolfsburg is a mass at the moment and you will not know how they will perform. terrible first half of season, coach is on borderline to get sacked and now they sold their best player and only reliable striker dzeko...who can score for them? i have no idea.
Bayern meanwhile will welcome back RIbery and van Bommel. Gustavo from Hoffenheim is an option from the bench as well as Robben. They changed goalie which is a questionmark, but i trust van gaal that this was not done without reason and should not be an extra risk..bayern is keen to get of a flying start in season as personal situation improved a lot duringbreak while wolfsburg is the opposite.

Nürnberg- Gladbach: Nürnberg -0.5 @ 1.95

whatever happened in winterbreak, i still dont trust gladbach. they are simply not a good team and while Nürnberg is also no world beater they play especially strong at home where they get the important points vs the teams behind them.

Stuttgart- Mainz- over 2.5 @1.87 !! 2 units!! and mainz +0.5 @ 2.04

this is based on stuttgart and coach labaddia...i said often here before that labaddia always plays open fottball with all it s teams resulting in conceiding and scoring alot..that was the case in fürth, in leverkusen , in hamburg and his start in stuttgart was 17 goals in 2 matches vs. München.
Mainz is not shy in away games, and an open style and space will only play in to their strength . they should get on the board here as well, which should give them a good chance to get at least a draw

that s it for now. will have a play for the late macth later.

it only shows...you have to keep on shooting.

therefore

Kaiserslautern- Köln: Köln +0.5,+1 @1.87

i wrote already above about the flu situation, but i see with the two big absentees for Kaiserslautern as well a very close match, which could easily go either way..therefore i like the value.

1. Bundesliga

Hamburg- Frankfurt: Hamburg -1 @ 1.90 and over 2.5,3 @ 1.87

Main fact for the game is that Frankfurt is without 7 defenders for varoius reasons (illness, injury, suspension)...not even their "B"- defense is now able to play, and they already lost 0-3 athome to Hannover last week. Coach Skibbe reacted in the only possible way posting a very offensive line up for today and quoting that he will go for attack as his only chance.
But i doubt that will be enough playing at Hamburg, which is always a tough place. it hasnt worked at home for them vs. Hannover with a young defense and now it s not even defenders playing on defense.
Hamburg started with a great 1-0 win at Schalke, which was well deserved after being the much better team. they should be able to follow that up today with extra confidence and home support.
their skipper Jarolim (suspension) is the only missing from last week, but i dont see it as a big thing even a positive for the over. Jarolim usally takes care of the tempo of the matches and slows it doen, without that i see Hamburg going much more forward.
Very open game, with FRankfurt going for scoring (should be able to do that vs. Hamburg) and Hamburg scoring at least 2 vs. a non existing FRankfurt defense.
