That's about $22 a week for category C above.
Category A is a "transfer payment" but nearly all Americans across the board can be receipients of these payments - especially through SS and Medicare.
So if you happen to honestly be in the top 10% of all US wage earners (which I frankly doubt), you're getting socked for a bit over $20 a week to feed and/or house other Americans.
If you devote more than about 10 minutes a week to bitching about this in a sports handicapping web forum, you've just burned another $20 in potential earnings.
