Well of course we can argue that point....heh
But I know it could cost me a couple of rounds of Jameson sours next time I get to belly up at a pub with certain friends from Connecticut.

Here's the good news. The number of pregnancies terminated in the third trimester is less than 2000 a year.
And with increased education to encourage those women who might want to terminate that they should do so as early as possible; and with increased advances in medicine that will help safely deliver preemie fetuses into the world without risk to the woman carrying it, that number will continue to drop.
I love how when we are talking about babies not being given a chance at life, we use the adjective ONLY... as in "Only 2000 babies died".
but when we are talking about fighting jihadists in Iraq over 1/2 a decade, Bush is a murderer times 4000.
Bush didn't ONLY kill 4000 people that volunteered to go to Iraq over 1/2 a decade... but women who aborted ONLY killed 2000 babies... nice.
I think somebody made a great point that most people when they shift, go from pro choice to pro life and not the other way around, that should tell you something.
I'm strongly fiscally conservative, but more socially liberal but I will side with the republicans over abortion, murder is murder.
My late grandfather used to talk politcs with me and he was a heavy democrat. He was religious, wanted to give to the poor, hated businesses, all that stuff but he 1000% sided with republicans over abortion/gay marriage.
Think about the profile of people like that.
They care about people
They want to help people
They want people to live a decent life
They do NOT want to kill people.
I'd think maybe some of the femenist nazi's would be the hardcore pro-choice crowd, where as the religious democrats are still pr-lifers and give republicans the edge.
Some people have 1 issue
and mine isn't dealth penalty, abortion or gay marraage, mine is economics.
