I get what you're saying. Pass it on 2nd and leave yourself with the ability to run or pass the last 2 plays. In this particular situation I disagree with it as you have momentum and the rb happens to be your best player. NE defense looked tired and you have Marshawn Lynch just broke a 100 yards a few plays prior. I think it really all started with BB not calling timeout and Sea wasting time on the clock. Pats call to and most likely the ball goes to Lynch.
How many different threads are you going to bring up the 12 completions ? Did you even watch the game ? its not like Wilson threw it 40-50 times....again, the receivers weren't good enough to get separation.....to hard to comprehend this ?
