YTD 122-88(58.1%)+56.2*

Rough stretch continues.Tricky day ahead as we try to determine who will play and who will mail it in before conference tourneys begin. For the most part,I am going to focus on my region.

2*Tenneessee-1
Senior day in Knoxville.Should be a festive occasion except Tennessee does not have any seniors. No matter, they do play well at home. The Vols are 6-1 in SEC play with the one point loss to Kentucky.Dave Odom has gotten a lot out of the Gamecocks but they are coming back to earth with a 3-6 record in their last 9.

2*Auburn-4.5
I leaned with Auburn in the first matchup and will go with them here. Both of these teams rely on their inside production and hope their lack of consistent outside shooting does not do them in.Auburn's 3 point shooting has improved the last 5 games and they have continued to play hard despite their disappointing season.LSU has been in a tailspin and with Lloreda out,I see a potential blowout.By the way, this is not a homer play-I hate Auburn but I do feel this is a good wagering opportunity.

May upgrade one or both of these.

Chalk leans:Georgia,Dayton,Lafayette,Wichita.
Dogs:Memphis,BC,VT,Nova,Michigan,FSU

Low Tide,

Best of luck today on your card. I am against you on your Tennessee play as I really think USC bounces back after poor performance. I like some of your dog leans a lot in Memphis,Michigan, and Florida State. I will take a good look at Auburn. GL

2*Georgia-1.5
Wanted to wait for Tenneessee and Auburn results before posting this.Georgia can steal South Carolina's supposed bid by winning this and doing well in the SEc tournament.Vandy is a lock for the tournament and are coming off the tough win against the Vols.Georgia has played extremely well at home lately and with the low number I have to take them.

2*North Texas+2
The Mean Green have a better inside-outside balance than NO which makes me play them here.

2*Missouri-3
I knew that everyone would be on Missouri when I bet this yesterday.Let's bring it in.

I missed your Georgia play yesterday. I wish I would have seen it. Best of luck today as you know we agree on one but I like New Orleans here though it is a tossup. Best of luck.

Low Tide:

Good luck today on your plays and thanks again for the update on Alabama yesterday. They should have won that game outright. But we'll take the win just the same. See you're on board with the rest of us on Missouri. Here's hoping we all do well.

Low Tide,

Nice broom work yesterday 4-0. It seems like whenever there is a forum consensus (Mizzoo) it loses, those bastards, nice defense did they ever get a stop?

How do you rank your plays, it looks like your having a GREAT season so far, keep it up. I don't think I have ever won during March madness, maybe there is a first time for everything and this will be the year.

MG,
I rank my plays 1-4 units. They are broken down as follows:
1*Reserved for 1st half lines,2nd half lines, and large favorites.
2*Regular plays
3*Stronger plays
4*GoY/GoM type plays but I rarely have them and if I do I will not hype it as such.I just do not believe there are that many games that warrant such a play.

I try to keep my plays to a minimum and not risk a high percentage of my bankroll on one day.

As for Missouri today,I really liked the spot for the Tigers, but I have learned not to trust them this year no matter how good the situation may appear(thus only the 2*).

Thanks for the well wishes and good luck to you.

YTD 126-91(58%) + 58.7* (Conference tournaments 2-3)

3*Villanova+4.5
Villanova is talented (had decent leads on UConn and Pitt), but inexperienced (let both leads slip away). With Sumpter,Ray,and Allen, Nova can compete with anyone in the Big East. Seton Hall won the first meeting by 2 as their balanced attack came into play. All of the Pirate starters hit double figures.I see these two teams as close in talent level and comparable statistically.I look for the Cats to play loose and finish the job at the end.

2*BC-7
BC is playing for seeding at this point.I am sure this will be a popular play in the forum, but I have seen enough of these Hoya misfits to play BC no matter where the game is played and what the circumstances are.As for how the game will unfold,Georgetown will be heaving bricks and BC should have an easy time getting inside scoring. Will hit this in the first half as well.

2*Nebraska-p

As we get into the tournaments, I will play more totals.I will usually play unders as I think certain teams will value their possessions more as they face elimination.

1*West Virginia/Notre Dame under 129.5
WV extends their zone and does a good job of keeping games in the fifties and sixties.

Leans:
Rutgers/VATech under 130.5 Both of their meetings went over this total.I think this one will be tighter.
Duquesne-2.5
Rhode Island/LaSalle under 132
Indiana-3
FSU+5
Colorado+2
South Carolina-6.5

EDITING BECAUSE I ENDED BETTING AT OLYMPIC.I POSTED USING CRIS LINES.IF ANYONE HAS A PROBLEM WITH THIS I WILL PRODUCE MY TICKET IF YOU WILL TELL ME HOW TO PASTE IT HERE.I got the worst of it on the total.

hey man

I'm on BC -4 (bought 3 pts for now) and Notre Dame at -6 and -2.5 (bought the 3 as well).

Thinking also about the BC 1st half.

Best of luck tomorrow - should be a fun day.

Hopefully BC will be on yahoo so I'll have something to do at work.

Went 3-0 on my official plays and threw some change at my posted leans and went 3-0 with those as well.Been cold lately so I am grateful for the good day.

2*Nebraska-pick
1*Nebraska-1
Posted this yesterday, but I am upgrading it now.Brown got the better of the Huskers in the first meeting.Without him or Bookout, the Sooners have no inside presence.Half of their 54 shots against Baylor were threes. They made 5.The Huskers are the better shooting team all the way around and should be able to neutralize the Sooners limited offense.

Have a lot of leans that I will try to sort through.

Auburn
South Carolina
Rice
Miami
Buffalo
Charlotte

I love UNDERS in the tournaments.I will probably play all of these even if I do not post them.
Cal/Oregon
Pitt/VT
Syracuse/BC
Minnesota/Purdue

Low Tide,

I like the Nebraska pick though I haven't pulled the trigger. I figure the winners in Big 12 tomorrow to be Kansas St.,Nebraska, and Missouri setting up some nice quarterfinals on Friday. I would be careful with USCarolina as I think Arkansas could do it again to them. For an easy under, look at Missouri/Texas A&M and Virginia/Clemson. I figure Missouri will play some good defense in first half then rest starters in anticipation of rematch with Kansas Friday Night. I will be with you with Charlotte and Buffalo but will pass on the Auburn as I think Georgia too tough but it will be close. Best of luck and I will play Nebraska as I feel like you owe me one on that UAB play 10 days ago!

Low Tide, I also am an "under" tourney player. Of 16 lined games yesterday, 13 went under. I`m "betting" the trend continues. It ain`t over `til it`s over...

Old Man Ted did not log on today.Hope everything is ok with him.Tough loss on Nebraska.Did not see the collapse.

3*Alabama
Wanted to watch for two things with Bama against Tennessee.Had they put the loss to MSU behind them? Can they shoot in the spacious Georgia Dome?Yes.They are definitely a threat to win this tournament.Guessing the line will be Florida-1.5.Will edit with exact line and may upgrade to a 4*.

Have already played these.
2*South Carolina-3
2*Colorado+2.5
2*FSU+5

Will definitely play Nova and Missouri.
A few other leans as well.
