I have a boatload on Fournette to win the Heisman at +170. As far as I'm concerned, it's a bet only on if he stays healthy or not. If he does, that trophy is locked up. Forget about it.

If I were Fournette I'd probably be done right about now. Leave the team, next snap I play is in the NFL. He can't really improve draft stock anymore.

You only get so many carries in football and playing for free is a sucker move when you don't have to.

His stock would probably go up if he quit right now because teams would take into account that he has less wear and tear.

All that being a team player crap is nonsense .

Yeah if I were 1 of the best in the world at anything you would have to pay me for that service, that's for damn sure.

Gurley still went high in the draft but no need to tear your ACL playing and getting carries in the SEC when you don't need to.

I would quit the moment LSU is out of the National title picture.
Which is basically what that guy from UCLA did last week.

Maybe I would keep playing as long as I'm #1 for the heisman

Myles Jack yeah...He got hurt though. All he was really doing is dropping out of school, wasn't it?

Screw the Heisman though. Nobody cares who won the Heisman anymore. Overrated award and you can't eat a Heisman trophy.

I don't think he is draft eligible for another season. Personally I think Gurley was/is the better prospect, but I won't argue if you rank Fournette higher. Should be a top 5 pick coming out. Also think the devaluation of the rb has been overblown to the point where people honestly think you can bring any guy off the street to fill the need. We've seen teams since as GB and NO bring in guys like Lacey and Ingram to add a power run element to their offense.

Just sit for a year, train for the combine, watch film. No reason to play for free.

If he quit right now then he is going to go rd 1 and top 15-20 range in the draft at worst.

This is one of those 1 in every 20 year plyers
I think he's better then Peterson.
I mean I think he really is the best I've ever seen.

This thread was not hyperbole .

I don't want him to be the next marcus lattimore or Marcus Dupree.

Gurley is very good but the only people who would rank him above Fournette are people who have not watched Fournette play.
I honestly believe if he gets drafted by the right team he could be the 1st rookie to have an average adp lower then 3

I'm not just saying this because of how good Fournette projects to be.

I think a lot of elite prospects should just quit college once their draft status is solidifed. Nick Chubb should probably do the same.

I think once a player does it then more guys might start doing it.

Looks like Chubb just tore his ACL. It was bad, whatever it was.

It is almost as if JustinCruise replied to my post and said "PF that is a dumb idea. Playing for free is great. He will never get hurt!"
