First off the OP of that thread Loomis posted got fired from his mod position for being a stiff.
Then the op was corrected at least 20 times in that thread for calling me a stiff.

Then in post 185 of that thread the op removed my name from the list .

This is what Loomis calls proof

Ok. We can move on now.

Let's get back to Chop's ridiculous claim based on a short sample size. Once again.

popcorn-eatinggif

Yes lets do although I don't really think you need a huge sample to judge a running back of his caliber

Well Chop was a fraud - lying about how much he bet and defending it for 5 pages before finally telling the truth. That was a long time ago but still a fraud in that instance

I think you have to be crazy to take a running back top 5 overall. Even Peterson, has he even really made that much of a difference in win total? If anything, he has effected them negatively by being good enough to get a teen kinda 1st round pick. You can get quality running backs in the 6th round. If your running back is the best player on your team, you may go 10-6 in a good year. The Vikings were once just a qb away from being good and they still sucked.

Chop actually isn't the first one to say this. Fournette was considered the #1 prospect out of HS and people were comparing him to AP even before he got to LSU.

Les brought him along slowly last year but he has had a lot of hpye for awhile.

I just think running backs are ridiculously over valued. As a Pats fan, you should know this. You get guys off the street that perform. You have different tailbacks every single year. And usually they are cast off

I think alot of it has to do with heart. If you are a first round running back, you are an instant millionaire at 22. If you are Jonas Gray, you are game-to-game hoping you don't get cut and glad to take the minimum.

Chop, we don't agree on some things but I definitely agree with you on this one. I've seen the guy play before but yesterday was his coming out performance. The guy never gets tackled for a loss and is a load of a man. He cannot be tackled by one man and invites contact. His upside is out of this world. Now, I don't know about top five as I, like Vlad, also think RB's are overvalued but although it's early, he's the best I've seen in a very long time in CFB.

I think they have been losing value for quite a few years now. But when you get one that's off the charts good, they are well worth it long term. This kids definitely looks like he qualifies as one. We'll see over the next 4 or 5 weeks. If he keeps playing like that then no doubt he's one of the top Heisman contenders. And rightfully so.

And BTW...If we're talking NFL here and not the NBA, I think about 99% of these guys have "heart". Highly Superior Talent is what separates the men from the boys in the NFL, not heart. RB's are cast off because so many (like Jonas Gray) only have so much talent. If those are a dime a dozen, you can keep cycling through them. But great ones only come along every so often. Same for lots of positions. Not too many Gronks roaming around are there? LMAO

To early to tell but this kid looks like he could be a great one. Chop is just excited about it. Not a damn thing wrong with that.

I have Hawks +3.5. They are settled in now after the initial onslaught of the atmosphere.
