I look at the rushing yards and passing yards by a team at NFL site

what you want to see is the team with value to win those two stats....now you are getting it....its base on what stat YOU find that could beat the game

I will started a thread each week "Exbookie wants to help the plays week1"....there we can talk more

But are those the correct stats to look at or should I be looking at different or certain stats that I don't know of?

Excuse me, I want to but in for just asecond on this comment....

Trust me when I say this, " Ace Ace Exbookie wants to help the player" threads are very important if you wanna learn. You must read them faithfully everyday. Pay attention to the questions asked. I can't emphasize this enough. Ace will throw out of the blue some of the best advice that you can't find anywhere. Out of the blue when you least expect it.

Ace ain't gonna just give it to you on a silver platter... If you really want to learn it you gonna have to earn it by lots of time and work, he knows who really wants to learn. You gotta put the work into it. Just read every word daily and at the end of the season... You will be at a new level. Just like school, if you miss a class you fall behind. "wants to help the player" threads are the bomb . Better than any book you can buy.

this is hard to answer...now I use two 99 system and myline which is 70% of my capping

I use to use Passing,Rushing,QB match up,Covers.com,total D-line,total O-line...and the big one is the t/o...if you know who turn the ball over more...you will win 75% of your game...you can only look at past game ....t/o 1st time is 2nd and lineoff is 3rd...just by knowing that and seeing that myline tell you this game is a +6 and add up all the other factor....how can it not be a play.....now if its the other way...o-line is not doing the job....key plays out....you know to stay away ...even if its a +10 pick

That's fine when I made a post if Ace will have a Handicapping school I stated that I had my notepad pens, pencils, ready and willing to learn I have read my line post numerous times so that I did not miss anything both the NBA and NFL. I've had to work hard for everything I have, and never expect anything to fall on my lap I,m not afraid of a sacrafice putting in the time and the work eventually for prosperity in the end

Ace, what exactly are Tools?

tools are what you use to get the job done jasmine. In this case , ( beat the NFL).

you actually have 2 in your arsenal now.

1) MY LINE - the starting point....( look at it like a crow bar prying the more valuable lines off the board)
2) ACE-ACE- the finishing touch...(look at him as a tool , after you have done all of your work ...look and see what he is on ..if your on the other side of a game ....more than likely you failed to see something...does not necassarily mean your wrong though)

so you have the strating and finishing tools now. When I first started following ACE, I use to wait for his plays every mid week and then attack them like a termite. It took hundreds and hundreds of games to get a feel for what he was seeing. Now most people after a loss, will just move on...I say NO NO NO . study your losses, learn from those mistakes. of course, sometimes the ball bounces the wrong way, especially in football. But for the most part, if you go back after a loss and compare it to why you were on that game in the first place ..say 50 games...I gaurantee you that you will learn what is important and what is not important. call it looking at STATS THAT MATTER.

Thanks Queen, you are right you need to go back and review why a team a player was on lost or won the game be it turnovers or just not focused, as far as stats I have been looking at boxscores and trying to find the right stats to use but there are so many 45 plus team stats to look at but I have a hard time trying to distinguish which stats are important in finding the correct team to play

I ran this on sportsdatabase.com , using the past 5 games as the data...

(((tS(ats margin,N=5)-oS(ats margin,N=5))/-10-(tS(time of possession,N=5)-oS(time of possession,N=5)+(tS(penalties,N=5)-oS(penalties,N=5)/100)+(tS(turnovers,N=5)-oS(turnovers,N=5))/3)))<(line-20)

that was the SDQL query, if anyone else knows the site or queries they can double check me

these were the results

you can change the # of previous games it gathers from by replacing N=5 with N=X where X = #s of back games to gather data from...

My Line question, an example:

Chicago

wk line lineoff tot lineoff time tot time tot pen yds TO tot score ..............

x3 -3.5 -8.5 -8.5 -1 -1 15 2 9-14
x4 -2.5 -5.5 -14 -6 -7 20 1 10-13
1
2
3
4
5
6

now you said average preseason weeks 3-4 now with the time -1 + -6 = -7 (-7/2= -3.5) Ace, now should I leave it at -3.5 or should I round it off to -4? what is the rule round it up or leave it and for the pen yards 15 + 20 =35 (35/2 = 17.5 again leave it or round up to 18 etc and that will have nflx for line 1 to start going into line 2 week1 regular season etc, is this correct. Thanks

jasmine check out post 1 but I don't think you round those individual stats you round the overall "myline" amount.

i.e. leave it at 3.5, leave it at 17.5
