I expect a tight match heavy on the defense, especially early. Both sides should be going through, but would likely want to avoid second and facing off with Argentina. France has +3 goal advantage to the Swiss +1, but the Swiss have an easier match remaining. I'm just not sure if we will see these sides go all out or play a bit tighter. I'm expecting the latter and a 0-0, 1-0, 1-1 type of match with France winning or ending in a draw.

This line is a complete over reaction to both sides first matches where Germany destroyed Portugal and Ghana lost to the US. Germany is notorious for fast starts followed by huge letdowns and I would argue the majority of those German sides were stronger than this years version. Ghana are no push over and have show an ability to give big time powers trouble, although usually falling short.
The Germans are questionable on the back line and weren't really tested in the opener. Its very rare for teams to come out the gates flying in consecutive starts, so don't expect the same level of intensity for Germany today. Having three points in the bank and an eye on the next round should create a much different atmosphere. Ghana will test the back line more than Portugal and did and should play with higher level of emotion and purpose with their tournament on the line. This one won't be 2-0 Germany almost immediately and the Germans will have to work much harder to get the result here.
Most will say I'm crazy, but I like Ghana to stun the Germans today.

Definitely cannot say we were thinking the same thing this time.. Very interesting, but I can see where your coming from. I always like when there seems to be a public/line overreaction based on recent results and this is a perfect spot for that angle. Also, it seems like another solid angle is fading European team against South American or African teams in this World Cup.

It's definitely a long shot, but I'm banking on my pre-tournament analysis holding up. I've somewhat drawn the line in sand on about five occasions a four have played out as I expected, so I'm going back to the well here. Germany are like a machine when they get rolling, so Ghana a good start or they are toast.
The Germans have been stifled in recent major tournaments by the likes of Italy and Spain, but Ghana doesn't posses the depth of talent those nations bring to the table, especially defensively. To stifle the Germans, Ghana will need a little help from Germany to do so. I'm banking on Germany having a bit if a letdown, which been customary for this nation after a huge opening win.
That being said, it's always and dangerous position to take going heavily against a side of this quality and I will pay for my actions if I'm wrong, but I'm willing to face those consequences. I really think this group gets turned on its head today and tomorrow after Ghana and Portugal win.
We will see.

Nigeria can't seem to get out of there own way and will be facing a more talented, disciplined and hungrier side in Bosnia-Herzegovina. I think this one could get out of hand, especially if Bosnia scores early and puts the African side on their heels. Nigeria are suspect defending set pieces, especially corners, which could allow Dzeko to use his size to punish the Nigerians.
I expect Nigeria to fold up if they face any adversity early, so a fast start for Bosnia is key. A win here should assure Bosnia passage into the next round barring a loss to Iran, which is unlikely. The longer Nigeria can keep this close likely foils these bets as I'm just not sure how the newcomers will react to prospect of seeing their tournament end early. Bosnia can score in a hurry and blitz defenses, so I don't expect this to be the situation.
