Odemwingie GOOOOAAAAALLLLL #2!!!

Just saw the score myself, been very busy today. I guess we were on the right side of the fix today.

I'm extremely pleased with the result. I was very suspicious about the over 2.5 which everyone was jumping on and it hit 3 in some places last night. Happy I avoided the total.

Nice start to November. I hope it keeps up all month. I will do my best but no guarantees because we all know that these matches are all fixed.

***Be mindful with Celtic in th CL, all their matches have been fixed for advancement.***

I know you think I'm crazy for thinking this way but that's your opinion and you are entitled to it.

I hope everyone was mindful of my warning.

I can almost guarantee you that the Barcelona players lives and those of their families were threatened by a third party with considerable interest in seeing Celtic win and advance. The players value their lives more than a match. Their is no way on earth or any other planet that the Enterpise can reach, that Celtic can beat Barcelona. It's like an U17 playing the National team and beating the National team. Never going to happen.

Its shit like this that makes me hate this game, but love it as well. When you beat the fix or know its on.....it feels so good.

LOL. there is no fix.

If you want to talk Italian leagues, then you are onto something. But, think of it as fate instead of rigged. that is where a lot of people go wrong.

but anyhow, nice call.

Keep living the dream. Ignorance is bliss... as they say.

It's obvious you have little to no knowledge of soccer or you would not make such a ludicrous statement.

Get a soccer education and inform yourself with cold hard facts before you make any false statements in my thread again.

It's your first and last warning.

I take this matter quite seriously so please respect my wishes. Football/soccer is fixed...we just have to work around this fact. I don't care to elaborate or spoon feed you on this fact. Do your homework before betting. I factor this into every play I post. Be greatful.

Have a nice evening.

Makes sense... Latin America countries are notorious for fixed soccer matches.. Lots of grimy cities and desperate families trying to survive... Columbia is s perfect example.. Drug lords run things.

Aston Villa vs. Manchester United

November 10, 2012
12:30pm

***This is the spotlight match of the day in England and it should be entertaining.***

What a match up. Manchester United absolutely loves to play at Villa Park. I mean United haven’t seen an EPL loss there in 16 matches. They are at the top of the table and Sir Alex wants to drop anchor there for the rest of the season. The mission is simple … WIN. They have earned advancement in the CL with the win against Braga this past week; so the pressure is off and they will come out alive and behind their new leader RVP.

Now as far as the Villains go, they have only won 1 of their last 33 matches against Manchester United. That’s incredible! Villa is desperate, despite the recent success of two wins in a row; they are only 4 points from relegation. A desperate team will be taking the field, goals are needed and they will not want to disappoint the home crowd. We should see wide open play by the Villa side today with an emphasis on attack and the long ball.

Villa seems to regress to the long ball and ignore the mid field when they are being pressured, either by a stronger team or trailing on the score board. This is exactly the style of play that nearly got them relegated.

The numbers really add up to a two goal margin of victory for the Red Devils. I may give the Villains a goal simply because Man U has been leaking a goal all season, but even this is a stretch. After a tough match with Braga this week today will seem like a cake walk.

In Conclusion: It could get ugly, Manchester have already won away this season against Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle so I don't think it'll be that tough against a struggling Aston Villa. Villa is not scoring goals and has a -6 GD. Combine this with a Man U side that scores and I see a considerable amount of work needed by Villa at Villa Park today to keep this match respectable.

I see "The Comeback Kids" scoring at least two goals and maybe three.

Tough luck push yesterday. I actually had United winning 1-3 but they couldn’t keep Villa at bay. I liked the over too, then held back, but not today.

Chelsea vs. Liverpool

November 11, 2012
11:00am
Ref: Howard Webb (Manchester United)

Chelsea watched as Manchester United took a four point lead yesterday by beating Villa on the road. You have to believe that’s adding further motivation to win at all costs today.

All I keep hearing from the commentators and all I have read over the past few days points to the need for a Liverpool win today to help save a sick and what looks like a dying season. With only two wins I clearly understand why Liverpool held back their first squad to keep them fresh for this match. In contrast, the Pensioners will be playing their 5[SUP]th[/SUP] match in 14 days. The good news, John Terry will return from his ban and it seems that some injuries to key players have mended.

I expect Chelsea to win this match in spite of Manchester United’s Staff Referee Howard Webb. We all know Webb is a Red Devil and the concern is that he will want to keep Chelsea as far away for United as possible. Let’s see what type of match he and his AR’s call today.

Both clubs at the moment are challenged at defending and both clubs have goal scores. However, in Liverpool’s case; all their goal scorers are named Suarez. Both sides should get their fair share of great chances and they should connect on a few. This will be a good match to watch as a neutral, but I am expecting goals so I will be cheering for both sides. 57% of matches between these clubs have gone over 2.5 goals and I see nothing in the numbers that suggest a deviation from the trend.

The Blues should win this match and in all likelihood Liverpool will give it a solid effort but fall short again with both sides likely conceding.

It’s a one man Liverpool (Suarez) against a well balance Chelsea.

Southampton vs. Newcastle

10:00am

Commentary: Mark Hughes can thank Southampton for getting shown the back door at QPR. It was a must win for both sides but the Saints made the most of it. As we saw today.....Rangers are pretty bad. I watched the Man U vs. QPR match and the Red Devils were playing like crap. Scholes was horrible and they couldn’t make a decent pass all 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half. All things considered they still managed to beat Rangers 3-1. What have we learned from this……..Not even Harry Redknapp can save QPR and when he gets to find out firsthand what he has he will probably regret taking the job. QPR should not be in the EPL this season. They avoided relegation on the last day of the 2011/2012 season. It was a gift.

The Match: The Saints have lost four straight at home and up until last week’s win at QPR; they hadn’t won since late September. They have the worst defense in the EPL and I am not a fan of the Argentine goalkeeper Gazzaniga who has played very poorly in the past two matches.

When I look at Newcastle; Cisse is doubtful with thigh injury, Ben Arfa is out with a hamstring injury, Gutierrez is out with a knee injury, Yohan Cabaye and Coloccini (suspended). Ben Afra was the only real threat they had last week if they had any at all. The problem with NU is that they can’t score and they can’t win away from home. In the last 9 away matches, Newcastle has 7 Draws and 2 Losses in all competitions. Let’s face it……they are in poor form.

What does all this mean for us is that we have a Saints team that can’t keep a clean sheet and a Toon side that can’t score. These clubs are desperate and the Saints have been playing some attack minded soccer lately. Couple this with a Newcastle side that has had less time to prepare after the Maritimo match and if they find themselves trailing early will be forced to open up which will mean more goals.

I expect Southampton to play better defensively in this match and that’s why I will back them and a small play on the total; since I expect a 3-1, 3-2 final. Should be a sweet one at St. Mary’s.

Saturday Varkey.

It's been very busy that I have little time to post weekdays. I have plays but unless I state my reason I won't post.

I liked the Stoke vs. Newcastle draw today but didn't wager or post. At this moment Stoke are losing 0-1 at home. Not watching but looks like Newcastle came to play tonight.

See you on Saturday morning and thanks for the good work in football.

Well a wasted wager indeed.

There is always the risk that when two clubs that score or leak goals will play an uneventful match.

The only consolation is that there are no followers due to the late posting.

Moving on! LOL

Reading vs. Manchester United
12:30pm

SHORT AND SWEET WITH NOT MUCH TIME AGAIN TO WRITE THIS MORNING. MY KIDS HAVE HI-JACKED MY COMPUTERS AND I HATE USING AN iPad TO POST

The over 2.5 has hit in 6 of the last 7 matches for both clubs in EPL and FA Cup action when we look at Readings home and United’s away record.

It’s a perfect storm for goals. Reading home matches are high scoring and United love to score on the road.

WOW, crazy day Saturday …… Spurs saved my over and United/Reading blew the doors open 1[SUP]st[/SUP] half. Great start to December.

Norwich City vs. Sunderland
11:00am

I have to begin by stating that, “I’m a Chris Hughton admirer” and I have to tip my hat off to him for the great job he’s done with Norwich City and the limited financial resources available to him. He has his team playing disciplined soccer and seems to put together a solid game plan against each opponent he faces.

Norwich has 4 straight wins at home; they have 1 loss in 9 home matches this season and are:

6W – 1L – 2D this season at home in all competitive matches.

Let’s look at who they have beaten at home in their last 4 matches:

Norwich City 1-0 Manchester United
Norwich City 1-0 Stoke City
Norwich City 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur
Norwich City 1-0 Arsenal

Why on earth are we expecting a Sunderland club that is pathetic on the road to have any chance of beating Norwich City at Carrow Road?

Sunderland’s ONLY ROAD WIN this season came against Fulham in their last road match. A 1-3 win they earned only after Fulham received a RED CARD at the 31’; after which Sunderland took control and won scoring all 3 goals after the RED CARD was issued. I looked over Sunderland’s form and they are awful with a weak midfield, they defend poorly and will do their very best to salvage a draw today.

My only concern with Norwich is that they may struggle to come from behind if they give up an early goal and have to chase. Let’s hope they take the lead and ride it to victory with solid defending.

There is some merit in the UNDER 2.5 goal option as well; since Norwich have been under the 2.5 goal mark in their last 7 EPL matches.

I’m sticking with the Canaries to win outright today against a Sunderland side that:

· Is missing their captain.
· Is considering sacking Martin O’Neill.
· Is in the bottom quarter of the table.
· Is struggling to score even strength goals on the road.

Norwich City vs. Sunderland -0.5 (+110) 5 Units

Wow!

Sunderland are playing their hearts out.....poor buggers.

The Canaries need one more goal or I fear this wager is dead. Looking more like a draw is imminent.

***Relegation Battle Royal……….with Cheese***

Southampton vs. Reading
10:00am ET

Not a popular match between two underperforming clubs; but, I had this match marked off on my calendar four weeks ago and although I do not believe in GOY predictions this match has the right ingredients for a goal fest.

If there was a match that was the complete opposite of the Manchester Derby it is this one between two clubs in a relegation battle to the death. If you have been following the season so far you will agree with me when I say that, “Neither team has the ability to defend but both teams can score goals.”

Both clubs have struggled mightily since gaining promotion from the Championship Division last season and both clubs will feel the need to better the other today in what I expect to be a shootout at St. Mary’s.

Southampton has begun to show some signs of improvement with their back four and especially the center backs Fonte and Yoshida. The last 3 Saints matches have stayed under the number but I don’t expect that trend to continue today. The fruit is ripe for the picking as they say and the Saints do not have a better opportunity then this match to get 3 points at home. In fact, the last time they faced a relegation team they beat QPR 1-3.

Reading is awful and did I mention that they stink. They have an away record of 0W-5L-2D. Strangely enough Southampton has conceded more goals than Reading has, but in fairness they have played one more match then the Royals. If the awful Royals can score 3 goals against Manchester United last weekend….why not another 3 against the worst defensive side in the EPL.

We have seen 99 Goals scored for and against in 19 combined matches played by these sides this season. That’s better than 5 Goals per Match. If this turns out to be a snooze fest…..so be it! But you can’t blame me for taking the over today in this “Relegation Goal Bonanza Cocktail”.
