I'm watching the Snooze Fest and a complete lack of motivation from both sides. Turned it off and heading out.

This is shaping up as a 0-0 Draw. Sometimes you get the complete opposite of what is expected and that's the case today.

Heading out and taking my lumps. Hoping tomorrow will be more profitable. The refereeing is abysmal and suspect in my eyes with a disallowed penalty an disallowed goal.

Have a great day.

*** REVENGE? - I Like it!!! ***

I had this matched marked off when the season began as I remember watching the City vs. QPR match and then watching clips of the Sunderland crowd cheering as Sir Alex walked off pissed beyond compare….feeling betrayed for all he has done for Sunderland in the past. Things have shaped up really well for United as they lead the table and Sunderland suck!

Manchester United and Sunderland have always had a great relationship over the years. Man U have loaned many players to The Cats; in fact, they can thank Man U for helping them get promoted to the Premier League visa vie the loans.

However, all that friendliness was washed away last May 2012, when Sunderland fans mockingly cheered when news that City had won the EPL title at the end of the Sunderland vs. Man U match. The fans turned their backs to the field and began to cheer and applaud United’s failure. Sir Alex was PISSED!!!

The one thing that scares me a bit is the fact that Man U has only covered the handicap against Sunderland twice in their last 10 matches. 2 is a big number; however, they have never had embarrassment as a motivating factor either.

I’m sure we have all read this statement but here goes: In Rooney’s published book he stated, "If there is one team I want to beat this season it will be Sunderland. When fixtures come out I look for three games; City, Liverpool and Everton. This time I even checked the Sunderland game. I don't know whether I will play the previous games before it, I just want to play against Sunderland".

During the Man U Player of the Year Awards last season Sir Alex said to the players and invitees in attendance, “I’m a winner….Remember this day! Those Sunderland fans who were cheering for City; we won’t forget that, I’m telling you.”

Fergie said that revenge will not come into effect in this match and that winning to maintain top spot in the table is motivation enough. Bullshit! With Vidic and Kagawa back in the XI; plus, the RVP/Rooney connection firing on all cylinders this should get ugly for The Black Cats.

This is a big one for me to get back on track after getting the shaft last Saturday for a dime. I would love to follow this up with a Bundesliga match that I have capped for Sunday.

I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and Holiday season. Back from being on the road and holiday commitments to focus on the EPL again.

Stoke City vs. Southampton
Dec. 29, 2012
10:00am

Southampton is simply horrible and unreliable on the road. They HAVE NOT kept a clean sheet on the road this season with 1 Win, 6 Losses and 1 Draw; managing a meager 4 points out of a possible 32.

Stoke on the other hand have an excellent home record this season and are undefeated in the EPL with 5 Wins and 4 Draws. They are also the only undefeated team in the EPL at home in the 2nd half giving up only 1 goal in 9 second half matches. On the offensive side the Potters have scored in 7 of 9 home matches.

The Saints have not even managed a draw on the road against a team equal to or higher than Stoke City on the table this season. After a great offensive performance in their victory over Liverpool; I don’t expect anything less than an encore performance at home today.

I was saying the same thing. I have already moved on to next week.

Just on the wrong side of the right side of a wager. Stoke is the better side and they are handing the match to the Saints.

Stoke do not have the fire power to come back, they aren't Man U, just right this one off. I have.

Not pleased at all! This is a huge letdown for Stoke and I expect another strange one in the Gunners match.

Happy New Year!

clearly arsenal still has defensive issues but damn can this team score some goals....everytime arsenal scored they cut to Henry in the stands...pretty funny. actually if you watch highlights of EPL goals today some beauts.....cameron jerome might have had the best - RVP pretty nice too. I don't know if we are still top 4 material giving up 2 vs 5 goals like that but if you are a neutral that was a classic EPL match. Demba BA is a target of ours and if we can sign him..holy shit.....and he could play in the CL i guess? I never know the EUROPA vs CL crossover...in any case we could use him. All this talk of losing Gervinho to the African Nations Cup must just but an inside Arsenal joke....who cares. Gl in 2013 in this crazy betting world of ours - .

Been hit hard with work so I can't spend the few hours I need to cap matches during the holidays. Should be back to normal next week.

I capped today on a casual basis Man U -0.5 and Arsenal/City Under 2.5 today but not official. Looking like I will go 1-1 on my hunches with City on a power play for 80min they should score 5 goals.

I knew as soon as I saw Bayern Munich up 1-0 hitthe post from 3 feet away on an open net in the first half that would have beenan automatic tap in for Messi…….The BM -2.5 was a dead bet!!! Now I know why Messi is the Golden Boy ofFootball…He doesn’t fuck up easy shit like that. Moving on! Disgraceful for a rested Top Notch Club like Bayern Munich against thetrash of the Bundesliga at home..

Tottenham Hotspur vs. ManchesterUnited
11:00am ET

Everywhere and everything I have been reading about this match is stating how it will be a goal fest.

I DISAGREE! Everyone who expects goals makes some good points but I don’t buy it.

I didn't like the way United played at Swansea or the way they played at West Ham last Wednesday. I think having Rooney back hurts United's ability to score more goals. His form at the moment is sketchy and I believe he slows down the United attack and holds back RVP who plays better at the moment with Welbeck.

Spurs' last match result was 0-0. AVB is a defensive minded manager and against the high scoring United side I can see him sitting back, keeping Parker further back and waiting for an opportunity on a set play or counter.

I think Spurs' are going to play for the draw and hope that Bale can sneak one past the suspect United defense for a squeaker. The weather is poor in London and I can't see how this helps either side with their attack.

Not a popular choice but it’s the way I see this match unfolding. My only regret is that I will miss the match and it should be a hard fought one on the pitch today.

7 units on an under... that takes some stones ARUK! Personally I am afraid to bet an under in a match with this much attacking talent... but if I were to do so, the only way to do it is to miss the match as you said because then you don't need to sit through 90 minutes praying and hoping for no goals

Good luck!

LOL

I have more on a tennis match later on. It's in the international thread.

Not a big fan of unders but I dont see this game getting out of hand and a draw is a good wager IMHO. The line just dropped to 2.5 (-110) so I assume money is pouring in on the under 3. I hope it's a good sign.

Cheers and see you all around 3pm.

Only 1 first half goal, and rather cagey so you're in good shape, although it's lucky there aren't 2 goals on the scoresheet as De Gea's big toe as he was diving away was the only thing that saved that doubly deflected shot from Bale..

Wow!

Just checked the scores and we have a winner! 1-1 draw.

From the sound of it Spurs could have won this match if not for good goal keeping.

I will look at the hi-lights later.

Tennis in the early morning :) should end my weekend well....I hope!

Arsenal vs. West Ham United
2:45pm ET

It quite obvious when we look at the hammers that they have struggled on the road this season. They have the worst attacking side in the EPL with 5 goals and they failed to net a goal in their last four away matches. Plus they have been held scoreless in 6 /10 road trips this season.

I’m not a fan of how Arsenal has been playing either but they did get the short end of the stick against Chelsea and played rather well. IMHO, Arsenal is a good team with little to show for the talent pool.

The Gunners will be too much for West Ham as they are facing a must win tonight with Spurs pulling away and the season getting too deep for any hope of a place in Europe. Cazorla must step up from the first touch and I think he will be the difference maker tonight.

West Ham will likely sit back and defend as best they can to hope for a low scoring or 0-0 draw. However, Arsenal 2-0 is my best guess or more goals if the Hammers fall behind early and chase.

Not a difficult choice to make in this match-up I just hope the Gunners show up.
