Don Best is over there promoting his site on the main forum. So I figured why not do a little friendly competition and show our promotion as well. Well the dickheads over there must believe in censorship more than the US Government. Every post I write gets deleted immediately. More bullshit happening. Shouldnt you decide what lines, what promotions, what services you get to see? I believe so. Thankfully MWForums lets freedom of speech prevail. This is how you should run a forum, maybe you should teach the boys over there how to run a successful forum.

I was banned, I guess now I am un-banned. Either way my posts still were deleted. No point in having an account if the posts dont stay for more than 5 seconds. D.B..... this version may be different than the last one i tried..however i DID CALL and email about not being able to see line changes at the most crucial times..during the last 2 hours before the game starts. i dont know if i have the return response or not but in essence it said, why do you think its cheaper than the full version? I HAVE NEVER BEEN TOLD ANYTHING ABOUT CHANGING THE TIME ZONES AND I DONT REMEMBER THE STARTING TIMES BEING DIFFERENT FROM MY TIME ZONE ANYWAY. again this may be something that has been added since last year, but just to get the full info ....how long before the games start are you currently coloring the whole screen so you cant see when a line moves??
i have also bitched, wrote, called and thought about skywriting that SOME books consistently DO NOT update their lines. i got the same response you gave here but in the 3+ years i used island express IT NEVER WAS FIXED. bodog and intertops were 2 i remember who NEVER had the same line that was posted on express. in fact i wrote you asking why intertops was even on there because if they find out you even use D.B. you suddenly start having log-in problems and cant access their site anymore.( but at least they dont boot winners....lol)

SHRINK... i thought the origin of the r/x lines was when D.B. left this site. i could have sworn landers was in on the development of them with some help from the staff at RIO. now you seem to be saying that D.B. is/was/hasbeen behind the r/x live lines?

IT looks from here that this thread is meant to be an introduction to some changes with the R/X live lines. i.e.> they are about to not be free anymore or even gone completely. i certainly wouldnt think d.b. would be partnering with someone who gives away the same product they sell. care to comment further on the future of the r/x live lines??

To answer your question about the screen turning red, by default the games turn red 5 minutes after the games start. But this is something you can set on your end. You can set the time to whatever you need, or you can completely disable the option. These adjustments can be made in the same place as the time zone adjustments.

If you would like to send me an email I will reactivate your account for 30 days at no charge. I believe you will find our current system a major upgrade from the free version you have used in the past.

As I mention previously in this thread, it is our goal to provide real-time and accurate data on our services at all times. We constantly monitor our information, and we see or are alerted to a discrepancy, we make every attempt to rectify it.

My goal with this thread was to simply inform the RX readers about our Express Odds free-trial. I’m not sure how the thread got so off track, but I would like to make some comments about it.

First off, while I greatly appreciate the display of loyalty shown by the RX, I did not, nor would I ever, ask for any post to be moved, modified or deleted. More than anything else, I believe that the moderators had an issue with a competitor touting their service in a thread that I had started. We have never done so out of courtesy and respect, and would expect the same in return. In any event, the current team of moderators is the best I have seen here, and I think they make every attempt to be balanced and fair.

Next, we do not have any problem with competition, as a matter of fact we welcome it. Our dedication to our products has always been our top priority, and we invite all users to compare our products to any other product on the market. We have a staff of 5 programmers that are some of the brightest individuals I have ever met. They have constantly improved and upgraded every area of our service since its inception over 12 years ago. In addition to improving our programs, the additional information we provide is unmatched. Our Sports Department is team of 15 sports enthusiast that begin researching injuries, weather, time-changes and much more everyday at 2:00 AM. I challenge anyone to find a company in this industry that dedicates more resources to their products and information.

I thought this thread was dead. Let me ask some questions if I may. I am not here to get in a fight, or argument with you, but your statement is not true (About competition). Reasons why I say this are as follows:

1.) It was just hashed over here, and according to numerous posts in this thread, you do not allow us to post a thread about our service.

2.) When some of the major books joined our screen last year. You bullied them to come off. That doesnt sound like you enjoy the competition that you just talked about.

3.) Other reasons that I dont feel like getting into on a board.

If you are being true however, and if the Shrink was telling the truth about not caring whether or not we posted, but that Don Best doesnt allow it. Then there should be no problem with us touting our service as you had on a free information message board.

mods, edit a thread to remove links, etc, but never delete it entirely. Move it, edit it, whatever, but don't make it disappear.

Deleting threads greatly ruins the credibility of a forum. At least the fact that there was evidence of SOMETHING being there in the thread that was "inappropriate" give people a clue about what has happened. Deleting also feeds a lot of the fire in "conspiracy theories"

To sanitize the forums makes the posters fee like they are being controlled...the McIrish saw a lot of problems with poster/mod relations, and hopefully it will not go that way again, but this is always the first step...
