Joe you're messing this up here. He did not use this phrase in Cairo during his apology tour (vomit). He DID use it the other day but when you read the speech the context of "our religion" was meant to include all religions (must nit be hijacked by those who kill in the name of religion).
You got the shameless partisan hack part 100% correct of course.

Except that there are many eyewitnesses to the resurrection... But you conveniently ignored my question about the Big Bang?

I highly recommend you look into some of the avowed atheists who earnestly looked into the claims of Christianity, and changed their mind (and wrote about it):

Cold-Case Christianity: A Homicide Detective Investigates the Claims of the Gospels

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1434704696/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

http://www.amazon.com/Case-Christ-J...id=1423689876&sr=1-1&keywords=case+for+christ

All three of those were written by atheists who set out to disprove Christianity.

If you are intellectually honest, you need to at least read some of these to understand the issues involved, instead of spouting "there was no water into wine... "

These are books to buy, I am not going to do that. I would think these people have the same agenda as climate scientists? Just having fun there.

Obama condemns those who seek to 'hijack religion'
Published February 05, 2015Associated Press
President Obama condemned those who seek to use religion as a rationale for carrying out violence around the world, declaring Thursday that "no god condones terror."

"We are summoned to push back against those who would distort our religion for their nihilistic ends," Obama said during remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast. He singled out the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria, calling the militants a "death cult," as well as those responsible for last month's terror attacks in Paris and deadly assault on a school in Pakistan.

Among those attending the annual gathering of politicians, dignitaries and faith leaders was the Dalai Lama, the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism. As with the Dalai Lama's past visits to Washington, his attendance at Thursday's breakfast drew criticism from Beijing, which sees him as an anti-Chinese separatist because of his quest for greater Tibetan autonomy.

Obama and the Dalai Lama did not have a formal meeting planned. Still, the president made note of the Dalai Lama's presence at the breakfast, calling him a "powerful example of what it means to practice compassion."

In a show of White House support for the Dalai Lama, he was seated at a table with Valerie Jarrett, one of Obama's closest advisers.

The Dalai Lama fled to exile in India after a failed 1959 Tibetan uprising against Chinese rule, and Bejing regards U.S. dealings with him as interference in China's internal affairs.

"Tibet-related issues concern China's core interest and national feelings," said Hong Lei, spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at a daily briefing on Tuesday. "We oppose to foreign countries' interfering with China's internal affairs and meeting with the Dalai Lama. We hope the U.S. leader can look at the bigger picture of the relations and properly handle this issue."

I know the Kenyan didn't use that quote in his nauseating Cairo speech. That quote was less than a week ago in an equally nauseating defense of Islam. I was making two separate points. It's not my fault the sewer rat doesn't understand what paragraphs are for.

Anyhoo, here's the quote:

But, but, but...he's a Christian!! Obama said so!

You can't fix stupid.

Way to try and rescue one of your boys, Scotty. Kind of a big difference saying "our Religion" in front of a Cairo Audience, vs an Audience of mostly Christians, huh? I think that qualifies you to get J Deuce's Horse in your Inbox.

You are STILL Editing the quote, and it was not made in any defense of Islam. Glad Scotty caught you in your BLATANT lie also about the location.

Except Jesus wasn't buried six feet underground in a brand new deluxe model coffin. He was buried in a tomb. Basically laid on a rock bed with a giant boulder for a front door.

As mentioned in this thread, his resurrection had eye witness accounts. One of his most famous apostles Paul (not the resident fat ass drunk Alaskan) was a mean and brutal MF who was inspired to change his ways after having seen it. I don't know how much scripture you've ever read, and the text we read today has been translated dozens of times over the centuries...but what stands out to me the most is the words Jesus spoke. Some of the things he said seemed to contain far too much depth and wisdom to have come from a mere human. Which brings me to...

You're asking me who created the ultimate highest power. I don't know, you don't know, no one knows. The likely answer is there are many things about our existence which our tiny human brains just cannot comprehend. My own belief is we find out the answers to those questions in the afterlife.

You are a person of religion, why do you continue with the racist bullshit on this forum?

People who are buried do not rise out of the ground. It is impossible to die be buried and rise from the ground statistic wise.

Dumb shit: Jesus wasn't buried.

If your knowledge of The Resurrection is that Jesus was put under ground, shut the fuck up.

You are so ignorant it is embarrassing.

[h=1]'Obama ignoring reality of Islamic terrorism,' deputy minister says after Paris attack remarks[/h][h=2]Bayit Yehudi's Ben-Dahan takes offense at US president's comments that kosher deli shooting was "random."[/h]

Deputy Religious Services Minister Eli Ben-Dahan (Bayit Yehudi) spoke out strongly on Thursday against President Barack Obama for his comments made earlier this weekthat the terror attack on the Kosher supermarket in Paris was chosen randomly, accusing him of ignoring the reality of Islamist terrorism.

Ben Dahan made his comments immediately after attending a headstone unveiling ceremony at Jerusalem's Har Menuchot cemetery where the four victims of the attack were buried last month.

During an interview on Tuesday, Obama said “It is entirely legitimate for the American people to be deeply concerned when you have a bunch of violent, vicious zealots who behead people or randomly shot a bunch of folks in a Deli in Paris,” comments which caused a storm for failing to acknowledge that the target was chosen in order to attack Jews shopping at the kosher supermarket.

Speaking to The Jerusalem Post on Thursday, Ben-Dahan said it was impossible that the Islamist terrorist who attacked the kosher supermarket, Amedy Coulibaly, chose the target at random, given the details of the case released by the French police.

Coulibaly himself told a French television station, BFM-TV, that he called while he was holding the customers in the store hostage, that he had chosen the shop because he was targeting Jews.

“This place was chose specifically, there is no doubt that there was a particular intention to harm these people because they were Jewish,” said Ben-Dahan.

“If you close your eyes and pretend that anti-Semitism and Islamist terrorism doesn’t exist it just leads to more tragedies. If you ignore the problem it will come back and hit you in the face and President Obama is ignoring reality,” the deputy-minister said.

“We’re in a very grave situation when the leader of the US, which is meant to be the leader of the democratic world, ignores reality and does not see with open eyes Islamic terror as it really is and how it appears in many places around the world.”

Ben-Dahan went on to criticize Obama’s general Middle East policy, saying he had made several mistakes including his Cairo speech in 2009, allowing the regime of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to fall, and for failing to address the Syrian Civil War in which the deputy-minister noted “more than 200,000 civilians have been killed.”

“Maybe President Obama thinks he can come to agreements with Islamic terrorism and I’m very concerned that this is what is leading him to a seek a compromise agreement with Iran and its desire to develop atomic weapons,” Ben-Dahan said.

“This is why I think Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is right in going to the US Congress to speak about this issue, so that the whole world will hear and listen to him about the danger of Islamic terrorism and the threat to the entire Middle East that Iran will pose if it acquires nuclear weapons,” he added.

Not once did I say Jesus was put under ground. Your reading skill aren't very good. It's the only correlation I can make since I know people who were buried, I do not know anyone who was placed in a tomb.

These eye witness accounts are from where? The Bible? I'm not going to change anyone's opinion and I really am not trying to, I hope I am wrong. I find it hard to believe that people would believe in religion/Jesus and disbelieve climate scientists when we know physical attributes the Bible mentions just simply do not happen. How many people are in this world? It is mathematically impossible to have this world population. And how did people end up with different pigmentation and low and behold they navigated to other continents unknown to others? I mean we can go on and on here. I asked you who made the ultimate highest power? You say nobody knows, so hence a Big Bang could have happened? It's plausible as anything else but when I ask and get into nitty gritty or to the bottom of this the answer is always, "it just is" or it's intended for us "not to comprehend." My brain doesn't work that way.

Now I am glad there is religion, I think a world without religion or fear of higher power would lead to tons more chaos. Church provides good community programs and support to people who may only have religion/church to look to. It keeps my grandmother who is 93 occupied and maybe a focus to keep living by knitting and providing a sense of giving to the community, a sense of self worth. I guess I will end it there.

For someone who claims to doubt everything about the resurrection, you sure as hell don't know much about it. Jesus Christ (pun intended)...go read the book of John in the bible if you really want to learn more about it.

But yes, there are witness accounts in the Bible. What else is there from that time period? Should one of the apostles have whipped out a camera phone and uploaded the resurrection onto YouTube? :::World Star Hip Hop VIDEOZ!!! World Star! World Star!:::

What's amusing to me are those who mock Catholics for having faith...yet the big bang theory, like any religion, requires a lot of faith. You have to believe an enormous explosion caused random masses to mesh together and create thousands of different life forms. There is zero scientific proof that ever happened. As I mentioned yesterday, scientists can't even create new life forms when they try to do so in a controlled lab environment. To suggest this all happened randomly is preposterous to me...unless, like I said, the process was guided by something greater than our level of understanding.

It sounds to me as if you're looking for more of a "what is the meaning of life?" answer to your question. Welcome to what philosophers have been pondering for thousands of years. Maybe the reason you don't understand the existence of God is you are NOT a god? Just a thought.

Oh yeah, as far as your "racist" quip...find me any post I've ever made where I declared my race to be superior to that of anyone else's. I haven't. The problem is you've bought into the new convoluted progressive definition of racism...which is basically any negative comment made toward those who support our progressive vision.

The science supporting macro evolution (evolution from one distinct organism to another) just isn't there and defies every law of science and common sense. Nobody has witnessed evolution happening. If evolution were a real process, it would be ongoing, observable provable and there would be endless transitional forms we could study, past and present.

Guess what? There aren't any.

But, but, but...the process happened over millions of years!

Uh huh.

How how does a species suddenly develop a wing to fly? And how many mutations are necessary to develop that wing? Just one day - poof! - a land animal can fly? If a wing took "millions of years to develop slowwwwwwly" it wouldn't be functional at all in it's early development... which defeats the whole 'purpose' and 'theory' behind evolution. Ponder that stupidity.

1784818_orig.jpg

How does an eye become an eye? And how does evolution explain the eye as one separate organism developing in conjunction with a totally separate organism, the brain, since one can't function without the other?

Absurd.

Our Idiot left wing indoctrination centers dumbing-down our kids are like Muslim madrassas...and just as toxic to the American social fabric and culture.

But coversly Joe, to think that there is no evidence of any type of evolution is just as simplistic. This should be one area where both sides should be able to find middle ground, but of course that would require open mindedness form the far right and the far left. That just won't happen. In my mind, evolution with a helping hand makes the most sense. And for those who believe in Intelligent Design, you guys should be the biggest environmentalists out there. I mean if we really believe that God had a direct hand in the creation of all things, shouldn't we be a little more concerned for keeping species alive, and the preservation of their habitats? And conversely, if we believe life on this planet came to being strictly by chance, why bother preserving the planet?

Strange. He must have PM'd me right after you saying despite his creation of thousands of species, he still can't find a classification for you yet...and he regrets putting something this dumb on the planet.

The problem is, people equivocate on the word "evolution." Yes, there is no denying that we see variations within a species, but this is far different than a human evolving from swamp goo.

I firmly believe that the whole Darwin model of universal common descent will fall within my lifetime, the evidence just isn't there, and scientists are finding that out every day. 10 years ago they thought that the non-coding part of DNA (junk DNA) was a left over remnant from the evolutionary process, but what has actually been found, is that there is more functionality in that part of DNA than in the "coding" part. The more research that goes into it, the more they're finding out they were wrong.

And when that doesn't happen the same people will be saying "wait till next 5 years". Kinda like when they said "bill and hillary will be divorced when he's out of the white house". Seriously, how many times must you guys be wrong about shit before you just give up
