The problem is, people equivocate on the word "evolution." Yes, there is no denying that we see variations within a species, but this is far different than a human evolving from swamp goo.

I firmly believe that the whole Darwin model of universal common descent will fall within my lifetime, the evidence just isn't there, and scientists are finding that out every day. 10 years ago they thought that the non-coding part of DNA (junk DNA) was a left over remnant from the evolutionary process, but what has actually been found, is that there is more functionality in that part of DNA than in the "coding" part. The more research that goes into it, the more they're finding out they were wrong.

I think the theory that we were seeded by space aliens is more plausible and believable than the theory of evolution.

"It was and still is the case that, with the exception of Dobzhansky's claim about a new species of fruit fly, the formation of a new species, by any mechanism, has never been observed." -- Jeffrey Schwartz - leading evolutionist and professor of anthropology at the University of Pittsburgh

In other words, they're just guessing.

He explained in his Cairo speech delivered on June 4, 2009

"I am a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims. As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and the fall of dusk. As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith.

As a student of history, I also know civilization's debt to Islam. It was Islam – at places like Al-Azhar University – that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe's Renaissance and Enlightenment. It was innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra; our magnetic compass and tools of navigation; our mastery of pens and printing; our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed. Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires; timeless poetry and cherished music; elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality.

I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America's story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President John Adams wrote, "The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims." And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, served in government, stood for civil rights, started businesses, taught at our Universities, excelled in our sports arenas, won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim-American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers – Thomas Jefferson – kept in his personal library.

So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn't. And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.

Yes, we should just have a president ignore every religion, faith, race but christian and white. Does the state allow you to walk the streets?

It's amazing to watch, isn't it? Poker Fraud David Vtard scoring one knockout after another.

"black people should arrest because white cops are racist. You have no idea what it's like to live in the ghetto, I DO!"

Why can't we all be like him?

And when that doesn't happen the same people will be saying "wait till next 5 years". Kinda like when they said "bill and hillary will be divorced when he's out of the white house". Seriously, how many times must you guys be wrong about shit before you just give up

So you apparently still think that when the 'Liar in Chief' said that marriage was between a man & a women he really meant that at the time?

Yeah because people never change their opinions over time. Years ago I thought difft than I do now. But when you're a bullhead stubborn moron....you just go on with your 1970 and older way of thinking and the rest of a progressed society laughs at you.

Not once did I say Jesus was put under ground. Your reading skill aren't very good. It's the only correlation I can make since I know people who were buried, I do not know anyone who was placed in a tomb.

Um, you didn't make a "correlation" you said "People who are buried do not rise out of the ground." When talking about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

You made a 2nd post talking about people being buried, when talking about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Now you are lying about your own posts. You are a fucking idiot and a goofy liar.

It's indefensible to give the guy the benefit of the doubt in this situation. So he picked up a new group
the gay people, to go along with illegal aliens, blacks, freeloaders, unions, intellectual wannabees ,
Muslims and what ever you are as a constituency.Yikes, what a group!

For someone who claims to doubt everything about the resurrection, you sure as hell don't know much about it. Jesus Christ (pun intended)...go read the book of John in the bible if you really want to learn more about it.

But yes, there are witness accounts in the Bible. What else is there from that time period? Should one of the apostles have whipped out a camera phone and uploaded the resurrection onto YouTube? :::World Star Hip Hop VIDEOZ!!! World Star! World Star!:::

What's amusing to me are those who mock Catholics for having faith...yet the big bang theory, like any religion, requires a lot of faith. You have to believe an enormous explosion caused random masses to mesh together and create thousands of different life forms. There is zero scientific proof that ever happened. As I mentioned yesterday, scientists can't even create new life forms when they try to do so in a controlled lab environment. To suggest this all happened randomly is preposterous to me...unless, like I said, the process was guided by something greater than our level of understanding.

It sounds to me as if you're looking for more of a "what is the meaning of life?" answer to your question. Welcome to what philosophers have been pondering for thousands of years. Maybe the reason you don't understand the existence of God is you are NOT a god? Just a thought.

Oh yeah, as far as your "racist" quip...find me any post I've ever made where I declared my race to be superior to that of anyone else's. I haven't. The problem is you've bought into the new convoluted progressive definition of racism...which is basically any negative comment made toward those who support our progressive vision.

I knew it came from the Bible but people who think the Bible is a bunch of phooey are not going take eye witness accounts very seriously. On a side note, I really hope I am wrong, it's not a good feeling or the best mind set to have but it is what it is. Maybe someday I will see the light.

I'll start by saying anyone who claims they have things completely figured out are either delusional or lying. The list of things science can't explain is lengthy, and fundamentalists who only go by the bible are often proven wrong because they ignore proven science. That's why the only explanation that makes sense to me would be intelligent design with some kind of driving force behind it. Where that force came from? We'll never know. Not while we're on this planet anyway.

Not to mention, what other testimony to Jesus' existence can there be besides eye witness accounts? No YouTube, no newspaper reports, no TV news coverage, no nothing back then. That's where the faith aspect comes into play. And FYI, I have seen no such light that you describe. It's very possible I could be entirely wrong. I've just accepted the fact that I'll never discover certain truths with total certainty before I eventually check out some day...and have shaped my beliefs accordingly. I don't belittle anyone else's beliefs...if I disagree with them, I'll point out why.

This planet has seen its share of carnival barkers and con men throughout the years. I find it hard to believe that someone who had such a profound impact on so many lives would ultimately turn out to be a farce.

Well I sure hope not, that would be the ultimate scam, and a big FU to the world.
