Heres something i thought was interesting. Seattle does not have one player with Super Bowl experience. Denver has many.

I think this is a very underrated fact, just look at last years game when SF came into the game and immediately went down 20+ pts before halftime. I think Seattle gets down early and has to rally back in the 2nd half. But this time they get the job done.

Seattle 27-24

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Isn't this the same scenario as far as the Raiders vs Tampa Bay in 2002? Don't remember the line but I remember nobody gave Tampa and QB Brad Johnson a chance. It was against the league MVP Rich Gannon and his arsenal of weapons. Remember they hung a 50 spot against Jeff Fisher's Titans the week before in the AFC Championship?

Looks like the OVER is the play.....hope (and pray) for reasonable weather.....it will be colder than a witches tit.

Jon Gruden. He knew every call Gannon would make at the line since it was his offense he built. Game was a cakewalk for his Buccaneers.

To take this a step further the QB situation is what concerns me the most. It's common knowledge the Super Bowl is the king of pressure cookers. Manning on top of his natural comfort level will be playing his 3rd Bowl vs Wilson's inaugural appearance. I want to believe he can overcome this and play well but last year he had very poor starts in both of his playoff games. It actually took the RG3 injury to win over Wash and in Atlanta despite a great comeback Atlanta prevailed.
Was that inexperience and if so will that be Seattle's downfall next Sunday?

And another thing that is a big difference.

Home field Advantage (even). The 12th man is not going to be there as the teams security blanket this game.

This made me chuckle. Like the Seahawks have any need for a security blanket. That's funny.

And Seattle has not faced an offense like this all year.

Guys, seriously, as many arguments as you can make for Seattle, you can flip the script and make them for Denver.

Denver's defense is pretty damned good, and you have a Seattle offense that is pedestrian, but gets the job done.

How many 6'4 and 6'5 athletic pass catching stud TE's has Seattle faced this year? Is Sherman going to cover J or D Thomas in the slot? Mismatches all over the field in Denver's favor, most of all at the QB position.

I have not made a play yet, and I am not sure what my play will be. I respect all the names in this thread but playing Devil's advocate because this happens a lot after a huge emotional game like the SF Seattle game.

This line made me chuckle as well.

This is the best secondary in the NFL and perhaps ever in the NFL with 3 All Pros roaming all over the place but there are mismatches all over the field in Denver's favor?

This must be a joke.

How do you figure? Washington went up 14-0 early and RGIII didn't leave the game until minutes left in the game. Seattle outscored them 24-0.

Sounds like Seattle's D shut them down from the first quarter on.

I'm sure Enfuego watched the game......the better question would be, "how much drinking did he do" ? We all bend-the-elbow now and then;
He, (Enfuego) is entitled to a few adult beverages as well.

He was injured in the few games leading up to the playoff game (believe against Baltimore). Point is, he was in the game and the starting QB for the Washington Redskins that day. His teammates, coaches and RGIII himself obviously thought he was G2G. And he was healthy enough to lead them to a 14-0 start. Only when the Seahawk D stands up and holds them scoreless the rest of the game, did people complain he was injured and shouldn't have been in the game. Nobody said a word at halftime when the Redskins were leading the game.

No NFL players make excuses for being hurt. If they are on the field, they are ready to play.

Yet you bet on a 2nd year QB on the road against "perhaps the best ever NFL's secondary" (an utterly ridiculous assertion) last week.

Something is a joke here, for sure...

Nothing enfuego has ever posted here indicates watching football has taken place.

After all, the Washington Post noted:

"Griffin limped throughout the game after appearing to aggravate his injury in the first quarter just before the Redskins scored their second touchdown for a 14-0 lead."

http://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...b8d1f4-5872-11e2-b8b2-0d18a64c8dfa_story.html

Of course anyone who actually watched the game remembers the announcers noticing RGIII did not look right and the media firestorm that took place after the game regarding Shanahan's comments and the Dr's comments about leaving Griffin in the game...

Hilarious.

Don't worry, everyone reading knows you don't really watch football.

Don't forget I said anything.
