He was injured in the few games leading up to the playoff game (believe against Baltimore). Point is, he was in the game and the starting QB for the Washington Redskins that day. His teammates, coaches and RGIII himself obviously thought he was G2G. And he was healthy enough to lead them to a 14-0 start. Only when the Seahawk D stands up and holds them scoreless the rest of the game, did people complain he was injured and shouldn't have been in the game. Nobody said a word at halftime when the Redskins were leading the game.

No NFL players make excuses for being hurt. If they are on the field, they are ready to play.

Nothing enfuego has ever posted here indicates watching football has taken place.

After all, the Washington Post noted:

"Griffin limped throughout the game after appearing to aggravate his injury in the first quarter just before the Redskins scored their second touchdown for a 14-0 lead."

http://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...b8d1f4-5872-11e2-b8b2-0d18a64c8dfa_story.html

Of course anyone who actually watched the game remembers the announcers noticing RGIII did not look right and the media firestorm that took place after the game regarding Shanahan's comments and the Dr's comments about leaving Griffin in the game...

haha yup. Especially since I recall everyone yelling to put in Cousins b/c RG3 was playing like shit from the injury sustained in the game.

I'm a firm believer (as most are), if you're in the game, you are ready to play. Kind of bullshit to get beat, then say "well, RGIII was hurt." If he was in the game, I'm sure he'd even tell you, there are no excuses.

So you really believe his injury had zero effect on him? That's just ridiculous.

this game reminds me of the giants vs new england superbowl where the whole world was all over tom brady and company only to have the giants win...BUT, Denver wins this one..i know how good seattle d is but there is 2 qb's that your never going to stop no matter how good the d is and thats payton manning and tom brady...you might slow them down but your not shuting em down, denver will score in this game and the d is all seattle has going for them, seattle just cant seem to score or put together any real good back to back drives..2 of the scores against san fran were just through the ball up and see who comes down with it...not going to get away with that against denver, they actually rank in the top against giving up big plays over 10yds, denver doesnt have the best d but they just dont give to many big plays and IMO, seattle will have to get some big plays down field to stay in this game.

So, you mean to say the Seahawks offense won't get away with some plays made against a much superior defense in SF?

I think people are forgetting the caliber of defenses this Seattle team has been going up against the last 4 or 5 weeks. Seattle's offense is being undervalued along with their defense...Talking about getting away with things...Peyton won't be able to complete those flutter passes versus this secondary.

What I'm saying is he'd tell you the injury had nothing to do with losing to the Seahawks that day.

His injury sure didn't seem to matter when Washington was up 14-0 in the 1Q did it? But, then they lost and it did? Can't have it both ways.

It's not a discussion of whether he would say it affected his play. It's an analysis of whether or not that injury had an impact on how he played. If you can watch the game and say that injury had zero impact on the way he played, then you are blind. It took away, or at least limited, his ability to run which happens to be what sets him apart from other qbs.
Again, I don't care if RG3 would say he wasn't at 100%. That is not a factor in whether or not his injury had an effect on his playstyle. Again what RG3 says does NOT matter. It's an analysis of the game. And in real-time, NOBODY waited til the game ended to say he looked injured. He started the game looking HEALTHY. He got re-injured and everyone watching the game could see he was not the same.

Everyone watching the game would say he wasn't 100% during the game but not being 100% is not why they lost the game. And he wasn't re-injured until the final minutes of the game. Nobody said his injury impacted the game when they went up 14-0 early. Why is that?

RGIII doesn't play D. He didn't give up 24 points.

Are you old-enough to remember when many football players went both-ways...those were the days....

Um, he was injured after they took a 14-0 lead. This was already explained to you.

Your posts about sports are frankly, embarrassing.

How come I've told this Acebb guy I have him on "ignore" yet he continues to post right after I post? Guy, let it go. If you are responding to anything I post, I can't read it. I don't care.

In all seriousness, if you are responding to me, you are stalking and it's kind of scary. Let it go.

You "don't care" so much, that you keep writing to me.

You have descended past the point of parody.

books continue getting tons of Denver money. and now all the squares have arrived in Vegas and everyone's loading up on Denver -2.5 even with heavy juice.

sharps were all over Denver +1.5 at opener and have moved the line 4 points already. now they're salivating for Seattle +3 which will come shortly (but probably won't last long).

books need Seattle in the worst way possible, as both sharps and squares are all over Denver.

As far as the line I was expecting Denver -4.5 where I would lean with Seattle plus the 4.5 if that was the line......

In general, Joe Public Perception of Game in my opinion...........Peyton Manning = big brand name, record-setting season so its only fitting he wins this easy, lost his last Super Bowl so perception will be he won't lose two in a row plus he has to win to catch his brother Eli...

oh yeah, I'm loving this.......Let's go Seattle......JoePub eating it and considering this is the biggest bet game of the year the Joe Pub factor plays even a bigger role than normal.
