Did he speak with someone at CRIS before he sent the email? If he did I would assume mickey would have credited him 1600 and would read this Gary the riot act. He is not entitled to anything but if he has given them a mill in action anyone with a half a brain would just credit him with a win.

Ofcourse I would be willing to bet he is a nickle bettor and probably has given them less then 100k. I doubt a dime bettor that plays that type of volume uses Western Union

I agree with Shrink on this one. You people are avoiding the fact that the person from CRIS said the control number was incorrect WHEN IT WAS CLEARLY RIGHT. Cris would have gotten the funds before the game if they had their job right. Of course, there are two sides to the story but so far I am with Shrink on this one.

If the guy hadn't been playing with them for 5 years I could possibly understand that behavior. I mean there are a lot of scammers out there and I hae seen people do that where they pull the money out of western union if the game turns bad.

However, this guy had been playing there for 5 years. And obviously for 5 years his money was good. Why would he start scamming now.

I don't know..
maybe it was a misunderstanding and it will all get worked out

playersonly69, The $500 limit has nothing to do with their double click feature. You obviously have never played at WSEX. WSEX allowed people to bet after hours as a courtesy not an open invitation to rob them. You $20 bettors do not realize there're sharks out there that will destroy a book if you allow them too.

I am with CRIS on this one. And everybody knows I have ripped them here in the past. If the game had lost CRIS's stupidity would have cost them a grand. Instead it saved them $1650. The player should take the Bonus Play and then decide if he wants to play somewhere else.

If you read his email he nowhere asks for $1650 to be awarded to him. He states that he expected a much higher level of service in this type of situation and that is why he is disapointed. The way in which it was handled was unprofessional. A $150 Bonus Play without any apology hardly seems fair.

I have sent maybe 20 WU deposits over the years. Cannot remember any cleared and in my account in under 45 min from time sent.

My impression is that he is asking for the money and thats why he came here,but I m not going to say more about it,its just my personal opinion and nothing that I can (or care) to prove.

I think both parties are at fault. The player should of had the money in the account at least an hour before the game. I feel that us players should always have enough funds in the account for our wagers. But CRIS made a mistake of not letting this guy make the bet, IF he really has given them all the action that was stated. If a guy has sent that much money, why would he stiff on a $1000 after 5 years of depositing? Something is missing here. I would like to hear from CRIS.

150$ Bonus Play? pretty generous IMO and he's still got his other 1000 to play with. It's obvious CRIS knew this guy was a loyal customer, and was trying their best to keep him. the customer should be a lot more resonable here. youre only gunna get it in 45 minutes if every thing goes smooth and perfect. mistakes happen, cut CRIS some slack.

I just spoke with Mickey from CRIS and he wanted me to present his offical response to this situation, so I will...

Mickey stated,

"THE GUY SHOULD HAVE SENT HIS MONEY IN EARLIER..."

After speaking with Mickey and learning a little more about Cris's position and philosophy of how they do business I feel I was too harsh on them...

For that, I am sorry...

The bottom line is that although I would have handled the situation differently, it is not my shop...

Also, CRIS remains one of the most respected books in this biz and I know of several players who collected over 7 figues with them RECENTLY when they won, within 24-48 hours after the money was requested...

That alone should speak volumes about their financial wherewithal and ability to pay out quickly...
