Exactly Denver's D did the job, just like Brady's D or Montana's D! All this talk about all-time greats (cheating aside, not the proper thread) Everyone overlooks the teams D more importantly points against! Brady has had 12 out of 15 seasons where his team has finished in the top ten in points allowed, Montana 9 out of ten seasons! Manning on the other hand has only had a top ten D/points against 7 out of 17 seasons with both Denver and Indy! Football is the ultimate team game and defense wins championships. Unless Montana or Brady are out there making tackles they have been blessed to have excellent defenses and special teams their entire career! In Manning's playoff matches vs Brady, except for this season, Brady has always had the better D.

Pat , obviously money isnt the issue.. Im debating who is the greatest.. These guys are ultra competitive and competing for the status that these endorsements declare.. At one point giselle dedacated all of her extensive resources bith money and clout to steer papa johns and tommy copper into Tb12 .. They were unable to bully errr i mean convince the market research analysts that have hall of famers as a consultants that Tom Brady is better than Peyton Manning.. There is a '' dick measuring contest" behind the scenes to win these endorsements .. The market analysts rely on polls and statisticians to come up with a list , and then paid consultants that are hall of famers give their input.. If public, evaluators and legends/ consultants all synch up, thats when u have a papa johns , manning, montana campaign

All time moreso than montana then he absolutely would be in montanasa role in the papa johns ad..believe that team gigi and tb12 WENT HARD to convince papa johns that he should be
If they had expanded beyond greatest active and greatest retired then TB12 probley gets in ad the 3 rd wheel..you canbelieve that was considered.. Instead they went with greatest active defensive player and passed on including the greatest retired defensive player. Lawrence Taylor for obvious reasons
