Red Eye,

you can't possibly think Marino is not in the top 10. What a stupid argument. I get it, it is kinda hard to debate the top 5 but really; not counting Marino in the top 10? This stuff can get simple very quick. Dolphins were contenders with him and not contenders without him. And I am not talking for 3 years, I am talking 15.

Isn't it possible they weren't contenders because of alot different factors ? Not just because Marino wasn't on the team

I'll take a 54 year old Dan Marino over Ryan Tannehill. Dolphins sacks allowed would be cut in half.

Wasn't Dan in the front office for like a month before stepping down? And i'm pretty sure that was a few years after he retired and initially turning down the offer from Huzienga. Now he's back and what exactly he does who knows.

The defense was sick when he retired and Wannestedt effectively ran the team into the ground. Zack Thomas, Jason Taylor, Sam Madison, Pat Surtain were studs.

ESPN Names Tom Brady Greatest Player In Super Bowl History (Video) by Mike Cole on Thu, Jan 28, 2016 at 10:30AM6,162 Share this: Tom Brady is the greatest player in Super Bowl history … according to ESPN. With Super Bowl 50 a little more than a week away, ESPN has been counting down the top 50 players in Super Bowl history. On Thursday, it revealed its top 10 with the New England Patriots quarterback taking the top spot. “Brady’s relentless pursuit of the ‘next one,’ which is a yearlong endeavor in which he shapes his eating habits and sleep patterns around being at his best on the football field, is as strong as ever at the age of 38,” ESPN.com’s Mike Reiss wrote for the countdown. “Brady is only the third quarterback in NFL history to lead his team to four Super Bowl wins, joining his boyhood idol Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw, and he’s a three-time Super Bowl MVP, which matches Montana for the most ever. Brady is also the all-time leader in Super Bowl passing yards (1,605), touchdown passes (13) and starts (six).” ESPN also produced this video to go along with the ranking. Brady wasn’t the only Patriots player to make the list. Here are the other three New England legends considered by ESPN to be among the top Super Bowl players of all time. 45. Rodney Harrison 43. Adam Vinatieri 30. Deion Branch

</article>When asked which Super Bowl ring is his favorite, Tom Brady's response is always the same: "The next one." Brady's relentless pursuit of the "next one," which is a yearlong endeavor in which he shapes his eating habits and sleep patterns around being at his best on the football field, is as strong as ever at the age of 38. "I think his consistency," said Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, who has worked directly with Brady for nine seasons. "Even though these games have a finality to them that some games in the regular season or preseason don't have, he approaches it the same way." And there is no end in sight. Brady hopes to play well into his 40s and at this point hasn't shown much, if any, signs of decline. -- Mike Reiss

If Brady were drafted by the Raiders, he would have been a middle of the pack qb. He has benefitted greatly from a solid front office and the greatest football coach in history. Look at Matt Cassel in that same system, then he goes elsewhere and is a complete flop.

anyway he won the super bowl and passed Brady as the greatest of his era and more importantly in public opinion, Papa Johns has Peyton and Montana not Brady in his commercials

Because you say it's true? Not.

Peyton set the record this year for being the worst QB to make it to the Superbowl, and he sucked in the SB, it was only Denver's defense that got him the trophy.

Facts.

I wonder what Garoppolo thinks about Bradys new contract. Happy just taking the paychecks and not getting beat up every Sunday or pissed off that he is not playing?

Once he sees time, the Pats will be cellar dwellers again. If he played now, he would get solid results just like any decent qb that plays for the Pats would

Bill Bellichick was 36-44 with Browns and then 5-11 the year before Brady was named starter. Don't kid yourself.....It's not the system .....It's Brady.
