Lets say there had been no Coronavirus.

Aside from all the personal adjustments you had to make in your life such as wearing a mask, social distancing, etc. and of course assuming that you

did not contract Covid itself, which would permanently affect your health in negative way, the question is whether looking ahead, your life and outlook

would be a lot different if there had been no Covid.

My answer is that while I had to adjust to wearing a mask, social distancing, getting take out food rather than dining in, no vacations,

which is what I am accustomed todoing, and doing very little shopping other than essentials, etc., my own answer looking ahead is no.

However and in all fairness up until the Election I was fixated on that a good part of the time and would have spent most of my time at home

watching tv, the internet, etc. for stories related to that.

If 2020 was not a Presidential Election Year, then in all honesty the adjustment for myself probably would have been greater.

However going back to original question and looking forward today as the Virus hopefully remains not much of a problem,

my answer remains no, meaning that unless there is another Pandemic, I expect the rest of my daily existence to be about the same

as it was before the Pandemic subject of course to age and health problems which can and do occur to older folks.

Unlike sbd who never admits an error or mistake, I do, and in the post I am quoting from last night, there is one.

Basically what I said about my staying home a good part of the time and being fixated on the Election Covid or Covid is probably incorrect.

I say that because if there was no Covic, then imo Trump would not have faced all the criticisms he did including the huge number of

casualties because of it and what many considered to be his overall incompetency in dealing it.

There also would not have been the unemployment and other economic problems which ensued.

I will go as far as to say that despite all of his personality problems, with the Virus, Trump probably would have followed the

tradition of most Presidents in past history and been re-elected for a second term, the big reason that most people would have been

fairly content and would not want to "change horses in midstream" and especially for someone not all very dynamic like Joe Biden.

As it regards me, if it was clear that Trump was in the driver's seat, I probably would have lost at least some interest, resigned

myself that he was going to win, gone out more and done some other things rather than watching tv coverage, getting involved

with political discussions such as in this forum, etc.
