With a Public Relations background I must say I'm a little skeptical of this story. There were no fines, the couple is anonymous and the legal firm in the story is the Western Center for Law and Policy

This story is the perfect type to launch a media campaign or get your name out there. A small station that's happy to have a story so it won't investigate hearsay to it's fullest.

A team of blogger's repost the news story and it creates a wildfire for Ideologues.

When really all we have is an anonymous couple claiming harassment through a Christian advocacy group.

These are public streets. Give me a break.

I do blame the parents, but I also blame the city government that
lets this filth go on in public, and chooses to ignore the public
indecency laws that are existing and on the books.

There are likely hundreds of laws on the books in your very own hometown that are routinely overlooked when a sufficient number of citizens don't object.

Clearly in this particular section of San Francisco, CA the public at large has insufficient complaint with any violations of morality laws. And I think we all know that these events are well publicized and therefore any parent who takes their kids into that environment is 100% responsible for whatever their children might view.

Good thing too.

If California were "Nazi Germany" most of those people at the street fair would have been arrested and executed.

Based on years of watching the devious methods used by the "American Family Association" to suck donation dollars out of unwitting Americans, I would not for a moment be shocked that this story has been exxagerated and blown out of reality in order that the AFA can grab a good chunk of donations "fighting" this imaginary government bugabear.

Meanwhile, the tens of millions of American marijuana users saw this BIG ANNOUNCEMENT and were a bit baffled since we have tried for years to get more than 30 decent doobies from a full ounce of sensemilla weed, not to mention other grades which have male flowers with seeds.

that fair that showed children walking the streets while this stuff was
going on. If you wish I'll keep digging and see if I can find them.

There were actually reports I remember where these perverts purposely went up to children and engaged in sexual acts infront of them, with police watching. And they were protected by law. Flat out disgusting what happens at these "fairs".
