I would love to see a mainstream media citation that covers gay people having sex in the open public city streets of Folsem wherever.

If you are questioning whether or not this occurs at Folsem, let me
know - as there were pictures posted here a while back, and
I can very easily find them.

...

If the author can use ridiculous hyperbole to push his point I can respond with such ridiculous statements...

It wasn't the author, it was our friend Zit again, for the umpteenth time choosing a thread title out of all proportion to the actual content of the article he posted just to stir up controversy.

I know I'm repeating myself in pointing this out, but if he doesn't stop why should I? :)

People having sex in the streets?

And parents were permitting their kids to be on hand and watch?

The first - if true - is certainly rude social behavior.

The second - if true - is tantamount to incredibly irresponsible parenting.

Why is it that ZIT can "very easily find" pics of gay people having sex in the public streets and a liberal guy like me would have to plod through a Google search to track them down?

Zombietime is certainly one of those mainstream media outlets which I asked for in my earlier post. Thanks

Preussen,

Do you have anything of substance to post, or do you just like stalking me?

If all your bringing again is your lame rhetoric, please spare me, it's
altogether boring.

That was a pretty graphic photo collection, all right.

Not sure whether to be impressed or repulsed by the creator of this web article considering he took at least 100 close up photos of gay men sucking dick.

Meanwhile, out of the 100+ pics I saw at that link, not a single one contained children watching the photographed events.

Thus making the earlier hysterical quote by ZIT an utter fiction.

Not true Barman. If it's not in that collection, there were others from
that fair that showed children walking the streets while this stuff was
going on. If you wish I'll keep digging and see if I can find them.

Well if there were children at that scene, sounds like your complaint should be with the parents who brought them there.

It's like finding out that some parents took their kids into a strip club and then complaining about how the strippers got naked in front of children.

These are public streets. Give me a break.

I do blame the parents, but I also blame the city government that
lets this filth go on in public, and chooses to ignore the public
indecency laws that are existing and on the books.

Would anybody's opinion change if there were 30-40 people meeting? What about 60-80? 100-120? 300? 1,000? Just wondering.

I'm not saying what this officer did is right or not, but there are ordinances that deal with these things and they are not targeted to religious meetings or any other kind.

Pointing out that your headlines are nonsense, or worse - intentionally misleading, is substance. ;-)
But in this case I was actually replying to D2 to show him that he accused the wrong person.

Don't worry, I'm certainly not stalking you. Would be much to boring with your complete inability or unwillingness to have any kind of rational debate. You are just a troll, so you should expect to be treated like one.

"complete inability or unwillingness to have any kind of rational debate"

Blatant lie #1. And, everyone on here knows it.

"You are just a troll..."

Blatant lie #2, but ad hominem attack to be expected from Preussen,
I was waiting for it, and predicted it.

May 28, 2009

A San Diego pastor and his wife have been told they cannot have a Bible study in their home. The couple says they were interrogated by a San Diego County official, then threatened with ever increasing fines if they refuse to stop the Bible study. (See news article here)
According to the couple's attorney, they were questioned about the Bible study. "'Do you have a regular meeting in your home?" The pastor's wife replied, "Yes." "Do you say 'amen'?" the official asked. "Yes," she replied. "Do you pray?" Again she said, "Yes." "Do you say 'praise the Lord'?" Another "Yes." The official told the pastor and his wife they were in violation of county rules.
The Bible study usually has an average of about 15 people.
A few days later they got a written warning that listed the home Bible study an "unlawful use of land." They were notified to "stop religious assembly or apply for a major use permit," which could cost them thousands of dollars.
Could a small poetry club meet regularly in a home? Apparently, yes. What about a Cub Scout meeting? Evidently, yes. What if they meet regularly to watch Monday Night Football? Obviously, yes.
