Kid who lives in the middle of nowhere goes home and says to his single parent he saw some weird guys with hoses by a train. that goes no where. Likely what the kid reports to his parent or parents goes no further. If it does some Barney Fife deputy from rural New Mexico county makes a few calls and finds out nothing.

But a murder does get investigated by the police. Some kid getting shot out in the middle of nowhere? sure to bring down heat

didnt seem neccesary to shoot the kid. what is he gonna tell anyone if anyone? he saw some weird guys out by a train? a train that should be that no one knows was robbed?

wonder what Mike will do. He said no witnesses though.

todd gets whacked?

Just because it wasn't necessary doesn't mean it wasn't great writing for it to happen. They told Todd nobody can know, made it explicitly clear to him and it was obvious he wanted to impress them.

Maybe it just ends by Walt having dinner with his family, "Don't stop believing" being played in the background while either some Cartel killer is on his way or Hank & the DEA are getting ready to raid the place and then they just cut straight to the final credits....but then again nobody would finish a great series in such a crappy way....

That little kid is destined for a Walt White acid bath. Just another missing child case. I think the spider in the jar might play a key role in the investigation as it might get left behind during the clean up.

I agree the kid could have easily gotten a pass as being just some dumb kid who has no clue what is going on. But keep in mind we only saw the kid when they saw the kid so how much of the heist did the kid actually see?

I think this week's episode proved that things are never going to work out.

Walt's wife continued worry about the children is no doubt foreshadowing the inevitable. Something is going to happen to them. The fact that they showed Hank was getting really close to the baby only reinforces this.

Finally, Walt's wife smoking has been a common theme for a few episodes now. Remember, there's still that cigarette with Ricin hidden in their house.

So I think everyone close to Walt is going to die.

Also, for two episodes in a row, Hank has mentioned the nice new vehicles Walt bought and now he mentioned the nice watch Walt was wearing in his office. Just a matter of time there too.

Unbelievable show. This season started a tad slow but this weeks episode was as good as any in the whole series. I'm just super pissed we are going to have to wait so long to watch the final 8 episodes.

Its an odd season so far from my perspective - I feel like the story line is pretty strong, and am looking forward to what direction they move in... But at the same time, Walt and Mike don't really interest me much, and I don't like how they have put the moral compass of the show (jesse) in the back seat. I also don't like how they had to introduce all these new characters to make the story work... But, agree with KoN in what he brings up, I think the ricen will be a huge turn. Also, Walt Jr will most certainly play a huge role, as he gets more and more frustrated with his parents.

my guess is in the end mike gets killed, jesse gets caught and busted for the blue meth and walt rides off into the sunset like a piece of shit

That kid ain't dead. For some reason I just don't think the writers would write in a kid and have him killed like that. We'll just have to wait till the next episode.

dsethi, I didn't watch the preview but looks like you're right. Kid is definitely dead and I'm guess they will kill Todd as well.

entirely too much over analyzing ... the writing this season is nowhere near what its been... every ep. is focusing on something even more unbelievable than the weeks before...they are trying to make jessie seem like mr. brilliant, walt seem like a hard ass and the shows do nothing but waste time ... meaningless fillers at the moment...just skip to the last few episodes and end it if you are going to butcher a show after so many years of great success...with other good shows on sunday nights now, its not even a priority to watch when it airs.... im sure pawns will disagree, but after the horribly boring premier, the show has been stalemate with 1 or 2 decent scenes per show... stop reading too much into it , guys...

walt will plant the ricen in the cig for his lady to smoke/die....but junior will pick it up and smoke out of rebellion.....and die.

it all has to end with walt bringing his gun to the final. Walt watching Scarface with his son was foreshadowing to the end....just like the teddy bear with half his face burned in episodes past was foreshadowing to Gus Fring.

Walt goes to war with DEA...

Ha. Exactly which shows come on Sunday night that are soooo much better than Breaking Bad? If you didn't think the train heist episode was a good episode, then this series just isn't meant for you.

Good point, I dont really like where it's going this year either though, cant stand scarlet being all high and mighty, Jesse being mr good guy is pointless. There are only 3 more episodes this year as well, they better get moving or nothings gonna happen the whole year.

the newsroom and political animals are both much better than bb season 5 has been...longmire just ended and hell on wheels premier was very good... ive watched bb since day 1 and have always been a fan and its still one of my fav 10 shows or so, but this season has jumped ship a bit and you and others are just happy to talk about something that has been over analyzed since day 1 because of who created it...i get it, i understand all the talk about the show, but this season has been a complete letdown for me...its not the same and has become flat out boring at times...not sure how its going to end, but these eps. where they are doing unrealistic shit is getting on my nerves... the magnet bullshit followed by skylar trying to kill herself in front of her family and then the train heist...really, a train heist? like i said, every ep gets more and more out there and killing the kid at the end was about the only magnificent thing to that episode, to me anyways... its just not as good as it has been and they overblown hype makes it less enjoyable... carry on with your discussion

Agree on pretty much everything here... The show has been pretty goofy, and lazy, so far this season. Hopefully it turns around. It was a great show, and hopefully it will return to it´s previous high-level.

When does Dexter come back? Love that show too...

Liked this weeks episode but if Walt won't take 5 million and ride off into the sunset he probably never will. I liked the preview to next weeks episode where he tells the other drugs dealers who he is, pretty bad ass. Wonder what his plan is though as he told Mike and Jessie he had a better plan than selling for 15 million total.

And while I can't stand Marie I would like to boink her for some odd reason (and she's not exactly hot either)
