I tend to agree ReBorn. I am not sure the Jays are finished just yet, although betting on a team with a high price of -150 doesn't excite me after what the Royals did to them yesterday. I did however think the Jays would take 2 of 3 at home, which by rights means they SHOULD win today, if my predictions are accurate.

As for the Mets, I agree I think they have the Cubs number. Better pitching and a solid lineup. The Cubs rely too much on the long ball, while the Mets get base runners each inning and keep adding runs. The wind seems to be blowing out to center field at 10 MPH which could be helpful to the Cubs if they can get some base runners.

I am sticking with the Mets tonight to close out the Cubs. The Mets have seen Hammel and hit him well. The Cubs have not seen Matz and the lefty matchup will once again too much for the Cubs to overcome with their backs against the wall.

The play: mets ML at -105 for 2 units

Also looking at the over but no official play yet. Letssss Goooo Mets

Thanks to those of you who tailed and another profitable day in the books. No bases today, back Friday for Game 6 in KC.

Game 6 smells like a must win for KC. I like their chances against Price.

Record: 20-13-2 for a profit of +14.50 units this postseason

Tonight's game 6 features two pitchers who were far from perfect in their first start in this series. We all know about Price's postseason woes, coupled with the fact that it appears Vegas is showing no love for the Royals at HOME. Especially in a park that they have dominated in and one the Jays have struggled in. I tend to think one of these pitchers is going to give up some runs and or both will surrender a few. Plays coming later...

Lex - first off, congrats on your post season success!! I agree with vegas not giving the Royals any respect here. This team made the WS last year and playing at home, even vs Price, should be closer to even. Price is strictly favored bc of his name. But what is more noteworthy is his 0-6 record. I wouldnt risk any money on him until he proves he can win a postseason game. That's just my opinion. Look forward to seeing your plays.

That was a big win. I'm not gonna lie, pretty nerve racking after that rain delay. Huge win the Royals! Can't wait for the World Series!

Postseason 21-13-2 for a profit of +16.90 units.

Today marks the start of the World Series. Mets vs Royals in what could very well be a "fall classic"

The Mets come into the World Series off a long break after steam rolling the Cubs in the NLCS. Their pitching was excellent and they found ways to get base runners inning after inning, which lead to run production. My concern is that they had a little too much time off and I could see them coming out a bit flat. The good news is that Matt Harvey will take the mound for them tonight coming off nine days rest and sporting a record of 3-1 in interleague play. These two teams have not met since 2013 and Harvey has never faced the Royals.

As for the Royals, they enter this series coming off an emotional yet draining series against the Jays. Volquez will get the ball tonight in game 1 after recording one solid outing and one poor outing against the Jays. Volquez is 2-5 in his career against the Mets posting a 5.70 ERA over 9 starts, making him still tough to trust. I give the Royals and edge in their bullpen and playoff experience. Their players have openly said this years playoff run has been much easier than last year.

Plays to come later...

Keep in mind the mets have seen cueto/edison while they were in Cincinnati.

I am in full agreement. I expect the Mets to take it to Cueto, who is scheduled for gm 2. With that said I am having trouble buying that the Royals will lose two straight to open the series. Leaning Royals GM 1 tonight. Mets GM 2 & 3 based on starting pitching, matchups and prior success.
