The '05 PSU team would have beaten USC IMO. They should have been undefeated. By seasons end, if PSU has a better record they are better. They will have played both OSU's and Wisconsin. Both of those teams on the road as well. Part of being great is beating people you're supposed to be.

If has a better record than USC this year they will have been a better team. End of Story. Plain and Simple. So we'll see at years end.

THE BIG TEN IS BETTER THAN THE PAC 10 THIS YEAR.

Illinois, OSU, Penn State and Wisconsin are better than every team in the Pac 10 outside of USC. Hell Purdue beat Oregon.

So while the Big Ten is so watered down, the Pac 10 is a joke. If PSU has a better record they are better. Turn off your television and radio and just watch the teams on the field. Get back to me at years end.

Did I misss something, or did you not watch the 4th qtr when the Ducks came back and beat Purdon't

I will get back to you especially if they meet up where I'd be glad to give you 10 points & Penn State.

You said they'd blow them out and you'd be glad to give me 10 points. Why thank you. HAHAHAHA. A blow out seems like 21 or more to me, but hell that's just me.

You're just helpless. You just ignore the 2005 team because you're an idiot.

THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BEATEN PSU LAST NIGHT! You're saying they would have beaten every team in America last night. Do you understand that?

You obviously did not watch the game, to busy trying to trash USC to see Oregon St played great. Why in the fuck can't you admit that since your calling people idiots in here ?

Whoops. Could have would have been the right choice of words. Regardless Purdue sucks.

The Big Ten have 4 teams in their conference better than every team outside of USC in the Pac 10.

Oregon State played great? Maybe for them, but please. They ran the same zone running play over and over. They played not to lose the entire 3rd Q.

They played well. Great. They wouldn't have beaten PSU. They beat USC because USC didn't show up to play. They didn't take OSU seriously. Believe it or not some teams actually are ready to play against lesser competition.

Do you understand how dumb you sound saying that PSU would have lost just because USC laid an egg?

I'll leave this argument to rest because you are being very ignorant. PSU woudln't have lost and they didn't lose. That's why they play the games.

You haven't given anyone credit in the Pac 10 since you joined the forum so what difference does it make. Thats even beating the greatest defense of all time. Oklahoma :nohead:

When in the modern era of superior talent & more parity has he had these undefeated seasons? The answer is none.

I read the entire thread and while there were many one - sided and yes even dumb posts, this is one of the dumbest. Like everything that Paterno has done in his career is meaningless because he's not won an NC recently?

Already said this.

Illinois, PSU, OSU and Wisconsin IMO.

Sorry I missed your post when you said this.

I can't agree though but if I had to choose one team of that bunch to do decent stuff it would probably be Penn State as their offense I feel is mature enough to score & get things done while playing decent defense. Illinois would score but give up just as much point wise. OSU is too conservative on offense & the same goes for Wisconsin.

College football has only been good since USC got good again. Before that it was weak. Can't you read :missingte.

So name the Pac 10 team that is better than any of the other three that I posted.

It seems your the one sounding dumb in here. Who in the hell have you beaten this year to sound like Penn St should be crowned champ. Your changing my words. Didn't say Penn St would have lost just because USC laid a egg. They would have lost because Oregon St played great . If you don't like the statement , thats your fuck'n problem

When did I say everything he has done is meaningless? The people are talking trash about the current time period & regardless of what Joe Pa has accomplished, most of it was not in the current era of football.

A healthy Oregon team

Cal although they will throw in an uninspired clunker here & there.

Washington State (Just kidding)

Health is the worst excuse in football. It's part of the game. Cal just lost to Maryland. Maryland is terrible.

The only loses the four teams in the Big Ten have are to Missouri and at USC. When they start getting beat by shitty teams I'll agree with you.

Look at how many QB's Oregon has lost. It is downright ridiculous & almost unheard of. Cal played like they were sleeping the entire game. They were basically playing at 9am their time & when they finally woke up, they almost pulled it out.

When you ask your QB's to run so much, you better expect them to get hurt
