Discussion over. You are clueless.

You would say that considering you are a Joe Pa disciple. Let him keep padding that win total with OOC scheduling like he has. What a complete joke

Keep losing to teams that are in that joke of an OOC schedule, while PSU beats them by 50. Helps your argument that way. :drink:

Do you really think that Oregon State would beat PSU at Oregon State because USC laid an egg?

Joe Paterno would NEVER EVER let his team show up as a 25 point favorite or greater and lose the game. Pad his win-loss record? Are you an idiot? Joe Paterno is the greatest coach of all time.

USC would not destroy Penn State in a bowl game. You're an idiot if you think that. Would they win? Possibly. Would it be a blow out? No.

Quick name the last time PSU lost a bowl game by more than 21 points. 1987 would be the answer. Only once since have they lost a bowl game by more than 15. They're the best bowl team in college football history so you sound like an idiot.

That 2005 team would have been able to beat the '05 Texas and '05 USC team. That team actually played defense. They had one of the best defenses I've ever seen in college football that year.

Why do people keep saying they haven't played a meaningful game in 10 years? What is a meaningful game to you idiots? Only a national championship game?

According to you USC fans, every game that isn't an OOC game against a top 25 team is meaningless.

You are all in denial. I'd be pissed if I were you guys, but I guess you'll make excuses for Pete just like Pete will. PSU wouldn't have lost last night. No top team with a coach who gets there kids ready for any game would have lost.

Short handed? PSU stopped playing at halftime and still destroyed them. They could have won that game 80-7 if they wanted to. Oregon State FUCKING BLOWS. Get your mouth off of Carroll's dick and open your eyes. It was a horrific coaching job, and it's unacceptable.

You can argue against every other Big Ten team if you want. They've all gotten embarrassed in bowl games by SEC and Pac-10 teams, but Penn State has beaten those teams in their bowl games. They've proven that they are a good program. They've proven they can play with the SEC. They've proven they can beat anyone that's thrown their way. They scheduled ND for two years and it wasn't their fault that ND turned awful.

To disrespect, arguably, the greatest coach in college football history is laughable. Remember when SC fans made a huge deal about SC going to Virginia and pounding them? Haha what a fucking joke. Virginia blows but no one said shit about that.

So if PSU finishes with a better record than SC will you admit their better because PSU will have played that great OSU team that SC had to play. Oh and they will have beaten OSU with Beanie Wells and Pryor while playing at OSU. I'm sure if PSU loses and I say that OSU would have beaten USC on that day you'd laugh right? Even though you're saying a much worse team, Oregon State, would have beaten PSU last night. Do you now realize how dumb you sound?

They will have played the team that SC lost to, and they will have played Wisconsin who is better than any of the teams in the PAC-10 outside of USC.

So will PSU be better? Hell they have very common schedules.

When you get you dunked on like the Trojans did last night, the best thing for their fans to do is just shut up. Condom apologists need to just stop with this nonsense.

Scoreboard reads:

Horseshit team 27
Former supposed best team in the land 21

Scoreboard. There's no way to Bill Clinton your way out of this one.

Wow, I can't believe I just read that Oregon State would beat Penn St. if they played at home. LOL. Maybe those people would have a point if OSU was competitive with Penn St., but they weren't. It was a ridiculous blow out. Also, enough about "meaningfull" games. In college football EVERY game is a meaningfull game if you want to win the title. This isn't the NFL. 1 loss and you can be done.

When in the modern era of superior talent & more parity has he had these undefeated seasons? The answer is none.

The answer is 1994. Move along. Please reeducate yourself. I'm sure you'll find some reason why 1994 wasn't the modern times haha.

Or wait did that just start once USC got good again? I'm sure that's what you'll argue. God are you naive.

I am disrespecting the notion that PSU is supposedly better than USC because they beat a shorthanded Oregon State team. I will not deny that USC should not have lost last night. I agree 100% with that but any notion that seriously suggests PSU is better than USC this season or any season since Pete took over is laughable. Look at who each team has played & clearly USC has played better competition.

Penn State has not exactly lit the world on fire in the last 10 years & this is while they are playing in a watered down conference. I never said only national title games were meaningful or that an opponent had to be ranked but even you would have to admit the OOC slate for Penn State is weak compared to USC over the same time period. Unlike the SEC where the feeling of playing so many tough teams makes up for it might have a little legitimacy, the Big 10 is a cakewalk in terms of the talent faced.

Penn St did get fucked really bad in 1994. They would have been dd favorites against a fraudulent Nebraska team, and they didn't even get a split national title. That team was awesome. Best offense in college ever.

So it has been 14 years since Penn State went undefeated. Tell me how much parity & overall talent was there back then compared to today? The naive ones are the blind ones who can't see how Penn State has not accomplished jackshit in the last decade playing in a weak Big 10 no less. No national titles or appearances, hell where is the last time they won their conference outright? Oh that is right, 1994! Hell even Illinois & Northwestern have won it outright since then.

They haven't been a contender in years , thats why they haven't been a meaningful game. PennSt would have lost last night. Your just all looking at USC laying a egg. Beavers loooked great last night and would have smashed most teams that came in their including Penn St. Just because they played horrific up their recently doesn't mean it would happen again. History shows teams come back from bad defeats and win the next time around. I am actually looking at this whole thing from outside point of view. USC is not my team, Oregon is. The reason they haven't lost a bowl game by more then 21 points is becuase they haven't played USC, when that happens they will hav ethe disticntion of losing a bowl game by more then 21

Let's not talk shit about conferences when USC plays in the pac I (this year the Pac 0). USC has obviously had a better 10 years than Penn St., but there is no proof they are better this year. in fact it's quite the opposite. Sorry but game results actually matter, that is why they play the game afterall.

The '05 PSU team would have beaten USC IMO. They should have been undefeated. By seasons end, if PSU has a better record they are better. They will have played both OSU's and Wisconsin. Both of those teams on the road as well. Part of being great is beating people you're supposed to be.

If has a better record than USC this year they will have been a better team. End of Story. Plain and Simple. So we'll see at years end.

THE BIG TEN IS BETTER THAN THE PAC 10 THIS YEAR.

Illinois, OSU, Penn State and Wisconsin are better than every team in the Pac 10 outside of USC. Hell Purdue beat Oregon.

So while the Big Ten is so watered down, the Pac 10 is a joke. If PSU has a better record they are better. Turn off your television and radio and just watch the teams on the field. Get back to me at years end.

I will get back to you especially if they meet up where I'd be glad to give you 10 points & Penn State.

You're just helpless. You just ignore the 2005 team because you're an idiot.

THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BEATEN PSU LAST NIGHT! You're saying they would have beaten every team in America last night. Do you understand that?
