They say on their website that they do not recognize FBS national champions. That's why they have it broken down into FBS and have the column, selecting organization.

Timely Hitting,

I am an OSU alum and i wish PSU had OSU at home, as PSU has the best team and D in the big 10. Had PSU had a qb last year, they could have beaten OSU.

Clark get no respects, until he bitches slaps you with his shoulder. This PSU team can play with anyone.

Also, in a bowl game, I will take JoPa against any coach anytime anywhere.

Hell his bowl record speaks for itself. He's 23-10-1 in bowl games. That's an amazing record.

Morelli was terrible. Always thought he was. Shame they didn't let Clarke get out there sooner. I think he's actually a better passer than Michael Robinson. I'm not sure I ever saw someone have their teammates play harder for them than Mike Rob's teammates played for him. So we'll see if he gets that ability some day.

Now at least we'll have to wait a month and a half before people start telling us that USC deserves to play for the national title because they're the best team in the nation.

And at least we'll have to wait about 10 months before we have to hear that USC will not lose a game because they're so great.

Carrol lays an egg again in a game that he should have won by 28+ points.

Come on man. That's not true. Riley isn't a better coach at all because 75% of college coaching is recruiting and 25% is actually coaching. That's what makes Carrol a very good coach. He can get any player he wants.

It's also much easier for Riley to get his players pumped up to beat the number 1 team in the nation than it is for Carrol to get his kids excited to play a door mat.

Riley had a great game plan and it worked, but he's not a better coach. Tonight he was.

Riley is a very underrated coach. Getting kids to come to Corvallis is not easy, and the shit he did last year and this game with no QB is very impressive.

Last time I checked Joe Paterno has won more big games than Pete Carrol could ever dream of. Joe Paterno is the best big game coach in the country. BETTER THAN CARROL. He also gets his kids ready for the little games.

He at least we're still undefeated going into our big games because we make sure to take care of the little guys. Something USC can't do.

Did you really say that Oregon State was good? And that it showed the strength of the Pac 10. PSU destroyed that team w/o their best defensive lineman. They held Quizz to 99 yards w/o their best lineman on the field.

When was the last time Penn State was relevant nationally & competing for national titles? Not over the last decade that's for sure.
