Today: 3-2/YTD: 115-90, +27.95
I did not anticipate the Nets sitting Thomas and Bridges after the first quarter. For a team who was 15-15 heading into tonight’s game, they treated this like a preseason game. They cared more about Bridges extending his consecutive games played streak then they did about winning. Despite that, it was another winning night for me. If the Mavericks get the W tonight, I think I’m going to bet Minnesota as soon as I can. I think it is very possible they rest Luka on the second of a back to back to manage his “quad injury.” Even if he ends up playing, Minnesota is the better team who will have the rest advantage.

We know Haliburton is in, which is what I was waiting on. I think this number should be -3 with him in the lineup. No Vucevic in addition to Lavine. The Bulls have won four of their last five and could be due for a little regression.
I am waiting on the Ja injury information to come out. I want to bet Memphis either way, I just want to bet the fair price. Denver doesn’t have a lot of great depth and are without Gordon. Reggie Jackson might not play either. I think Memphis can hang around in this game with or without Ja. I will update once we know his status.

Despite a bad bet on Memphis, I had another positive night. I am going to bet Toronto as soon as that number is available across domestic sportsbooks. I think it is pretty close to a certainty that Boston sits Horford and Porzingis. I expect Jaylen Brown to be back, but the Celtics will be very shorthanded in the front court and playing the second night of a back to back. I’m also considering Portland in a revenge game against the Spurs, who beat them tonight. I will update when I can, but I recommend betting Toronto if/when you can. Anything +9 or better is definitely good.

Lost by the hook. Pretty annoying sequence to close out the game. Phoenix missed, Orlando made an uncontested layup and didn’t foul. It has been a good year so I’m not going to sweat that one.
Three interesting games tomorrow, as long as Anunoby is in the Knicks lineup. I kind of want to bet Portland depending on who is active for them and Phoenix. I wouldn’t be surprised if Phoenix rests one of their big three with the thought that they can beat Portland without them. I will update tomorrow. Happy New Year!
