December 9th
Anthony Davis over 13.5 rebounds (-130), 1*
Austin Reaves over 14.5 points (-140), 1*
Austin Reaves over 18.5 points and rebounds (-150), 1*
Going back to the prop market tonight. I think the side is right and the total is hard to figure out. It’s easy to just say over with a Pacers game, but I think the Lakers could look to slow things down.
Bad night yesterday, I was probably due for one of those. GL

I have to play the Pistons tonight and Mavericks tomorrow. I’m playing against the Pacers and Lakers after their big game on Saturday night. These games mean less and I think there will be a one game adjustment for both teams. I think the Nuggets are going to break out of this funk they are in. I also bet Jokic’s PRA over. As for the Clippers, Kawhi called out the team’s defensive effort and it has been better in the short term. Here comes Portland who are a low scoring team to begin with. This should be a good spot for the Clippers to gain some defensive confidence. GL

I do not think Durant will be back tonight for Phoenix. It sounds more likely they will bring him back on Friday against the Knicks. Allen is also out for Philly. Maybe they don’t play Beal or Allen on the second of a back to back. Even if both those guys play, Phoenix played a tough game last night against the Warriors. Brooklyn is fresher and wants to play fast. I think they wear down the Suns.
By the way, what a tough loss last night with Chicago. Murray was resting, Jokic gets thrown out in the first half and Caldwell-Pope gets hurt in the first half. The Bulls still find a way to lose the game by eight. I know they had played the night before, but so had Denver. And the Nuggets were on the road. Oh well, onto today. I will probably have another side and total later.

Should have been a sweep last night. Lakers absolutely took their foot off the gas against the Spurs and almost lost the game outright. They still had a chance to cover with .8 seconds, but Prince missed one of two from the line and we lose by the hook. The good news is the Nets won outright so the bad closing line value didn’t matter. GL

I am waiting to see if Edwards or George are going to play. If Edwards plays, I will bet Minnesota. If George plays, I will wait for the spread to get larger and bet the Warriors. I’m happy to take a shot with Golden State in their first game without Draymond. It could be a blessing for them.

There are a few spots I like tomorrow. There are three duplex games, where tomorrow’s game is the second half of the mini series. I will not be betting Detroit in their rematch with Philly. They lost by 18 at home and now they travel to Philly. No thank you. However, I am interested in Memphis hosting Houston and Atlanta at Toronto. I like to bet on the team who lost the first game in these situations to get a little revenge depending on several factors. I want to know the status of Desmond Bane and DeAndre Hunter/Trae Young before I place those bets. I also may bet Orlando against the Celtics. Boston will be playing their third game in four nights and could be shorthanded. Horford doesn’t play back to backs, while Porzingis and Brown were both on the injury report tonight. They both played, but I could see one of them resting. Definite rest advantage for Orlando in that one.
