The problem is with the way bills are passed. There is not just one bill... There are always other bills attached to another bill. That's the only way to get Dems and Repubs to work together. This bill was attached to some border bill I think. Unfortunately, the government doesn't care about the people anymore.

Anyone else really bumbed by all this not being able to gamble at WWTS? Now I cant bet on the ALCS game today and now my $ is stuck in a book that doesnt offer business to Us customers. What are they going to do with all the US sports keep lines up and allow people to bet on them?

If might be in our best interests to find some other guys who were also stiffed for large dollars, pool some money and hire an attorney in London to go after them.
Otherwise, the money is gone. Forget about it. The book is not for sale. If they were going to sell, would the new buyer pay more or less after a stunt like this??? This just isn't the sort of thing you do right before you sell a business.

If they are going to sell the book, WHY would they freeze all accounts? I guarantee, if they do open back up, there will be a run on this book bigger than life.
Why on earth would the buyer want the entire thing closed down right before he buys it?
I understand, there are outstanding bets that need to be settled etc, but that is what guesswork is for.
