How do Wade and Irving compare to Pippen? Wade won a title pre Lebron. So he flees from home, hand picks his own dream team and still only split titles. If Jordan hadnt gotten so bored with sports, started gambling, got hushed out of the nba....dude could have won 8 in row.

Hey Runlee... you sound like you know some of the behind scenes sht..

It's never discussed.. but was his dad's murder a mob hit? Yes right?? Jordan wouldn't throw a game, so that was where it went..

And yes Jordan is greatest of all time

If true, it's the worst mob hit in the history of our country.

You don't know much about anything.

It is very close but I get the age group here would think Jordan. People forget what he was before Pippen arrived. A big time scorer. Great individual player......quite possibly the best of all time.....but it's not the run away many here think it is. In today's game.....those Detroit Pistons teams that Jordan took years to beat.....would be a 6 seed.

Teams today play better D??? I respectfully disagree. The game was definitely more physical then and the competition during Jordan's tenure was far superior
than today's game, hands down. Jordan without question.
you obviously didn't read the context. today you can't grab or hold like in the 80s. when you have lock down defenders like leonard or bradley, they are in your grill with pure speed and footwork. the fundamentals of today's players far exceed defenders of the 80s. if you put an elite defender from today's game in a game with 80's rules allowing him to hand check and be more physical, he will have more tools than he ever had before and will be a far more formidable defender.

You think the fundamentals of today's players far exceeds the fundamental's of a player from years past?

I don't feel that way at all.

No offense but those who argue that today's NBA focuses on defense as much as it did in years past, must not have watched too many years of the sport.

Today's NBA is the TOTAL OPPOSITE of that years ago.

Today's NBA, players, rules, and officiating, all focus on & cater to offense.

Yesterday's NBA, players, rules, and officiating, all focused on defense.

The difference in the eras of league are night & day.

Much of Lebron's success lies with his size & driving to the hole, which wouldn't have been as big a factor when defense was prioriy in the league.

So, again, yes LeBron is a great all-around player.

But he is not the greatest player by any means, and definitely not on Jordan's level.

I agree with the poster earlier who stated most young guys who haven't really seen both play, can't comprehend how dominant Michael Jordan was/is, and will say Lebron is better...

like honestly it's not the late 90s/early 2000s anymore. basketball has improved. get over yourselves and appreciate the talent saturated league that is the nba today.

Some of us have seen both in their primes....and lebron would dominate in any era.

Reasonably confident that avg NBA scoring significantly lower than in the early 90s

Teams in 2017 have more film, computer analysis on defensive positioning and therefore players are forced to be better than ever before.

The average athletic ability for players in every major sport 2017 is superior to their peers from early 1990s. Quite simply, human physical and mental evolution is at it's greatest and will always continue to expand.

jordan & not even close.

Michael was double & triple teamed on a nightly basis when playing in an nba which lived & prided itself on defense., yet he still put up ridiculous stats.

Would love to see lebron driving to lane back then & watch guys like charles oakley, bill laimbeer, anthony mason, dennis rodman, and so many more like those guys, put lebron on the floor.

Bottom line... Just because lebron james is an outstanding all around player, doesn't put him on jordan's level.

And as a matter of fact im not even sure lebron is as great as a kobe bryant in his prime...

hache nails it

Oh boy. Only a complete and utter tool would think to compare this woefully watered down NBA product we have today with expansion, lack of defense and no hand checking to the golden years of the nba. People forget who Jordan was before Pippen arrived? Who were the Bulls after Jordan was gone with Pippen? Who was Lebron in said watered down NBA before he went to Miami and played with two of the best players in the East? Youre as usual so wrong. You should avoid interacting with me, last time you got banned son. Tread lightly. Consider that your trigger warning.

My ban had nothing to do with you. As usual you're inflating who you are. That mindless blog with 3 views has clouded your already damaged brain. Going from a whacky libertarian to a whacky conservative is not an upgrade.

Lmao. Golden years. Half those golden year players would be in 10 day contract in present day NBA. Scan down a 90's NBA bench....it looks like a YMCA all star game.

Did you see what happened to the cavs when lebron left?

Did you see what bulls did the following year when Jordan left?

dont try me son.....you'll keep getting the Vitterd knockout shot.

Nobody likes you dude. Like seriously. And you contribute nothing to this forum. All you do is just dick ride and stalk the forums. You're a literal cancer that everyone rejoiced when you were shown the door. Because in here just like in real life, you don't matter. Your words and your ideas don't have any impact on anyone. If anything people just love to hate you. Why you keep bringing up my blog is beyond me. I think I have 45k views and that's not counting my own IP. I also have been asked to contribute on two other sites so it can't be all that bad. You're a loser who constantly loses ban bets can't produce winners and if that wasn't enough get banned for being a shithead. You're making a case for the NBA being better now because of athleticism. LOL. And you're one of 3 people here that think Lebron is on par with Jordan. Go back to your bed and get underneath that dick and stay cucked. Stop wasting bandwidth
