He told me that about 10-20 other people bet on this line as well and thats why he's pissed off. Please post here if you got screwed.

This is totally unacceptable. They obviously don't intent to provide an honest explanation. When do these welchers get put on the shit-lists of these so-called watchdogs? Or is everyone just hoping this will all blow over till football season? Whether they were dishonest or merely incompetent is not the point... either way I'm staying far away from this book as they appear to be swirling the bowl.

Bucky- I AM SURE CBS WILL MAKE THIS RIGHT.

I have played with them for years and they have gone out of there way for me a few times for figures like this when I felt they were wrong.

There is two sides to every story and I talked to Areef after he e-mailled me he phone number and he seems like a straight up guy. I think cbs was mad because they were hit so many times for a max bet on this within a 30 minute or so time frame. Also because the usual bet size for the people that hit it was much lower then the max bet. I understand there is a group of guys that im or e-mail each other about the middles they have and that was the case here.

Dave is supposed to call me Tuesday and hopefully this will be straightned out.

After gathering more facts here and if CBS does not play I truly believe they might be the next book to go down and pull out all funds immediately. The deadline will be this Tuesday, if not the book is finished and you all will lose ally your money there. I got word there are very serious cash flow problems at CBS

Krackman is one of the most knowledgeable and respected voices on the forum circuit. If anyone has accurate insight of what is going on internally in this offshore gambling business chances are it Krackaman. This situation is promised to be handled and hopefully resolved on Tuesday. I don't think a internet jack-in -the box like JJGold with shit- stirring scoops on everything everywhere is neccessarily needed to heighten the drama level of this situation. Casablanca has always been reputable and my bet is that people will be paid and that a wake up call to all the sportsbooks involved with internet gambling will come from this. If you hang overnight lines on contests that are played while your shop has a lock on the door be willing to suffer the consequences of NOT having a live employee there to monitor your action. If you have a live line on the screen you are offering your wares to the public and you are still officially open!! PERIOD.

Ok, so it was several places, wow!

Tell us which "places" those were. In 224 posts, we have Pinnacle at +453 and you have not said BOO about it. So maybe nobody had it at +500 or better, but do cut the bullshit and tell the whole story.

It's amazing that this kid has become a forum favorite after hitting a bad line. I am very surprised at this BS after 225 posts and it is still not clear to every single reader that this guy hit a bad line and he knew it.

DJ could pay the guy in the full or in part, but that decision is left to his own discretion. If he pays the guy anything then it is charity. If DJ pays anything it is because he is generous and not because areef deserves to be rewarded for hitting a bad number with a few of his buddies.

What difference does it make? Did you even READ any of the "225 posts" in this thread? They actually credited his account with a WIN before deciding to call it a "bad line". If they knew it was a bad line then they should've caught it BEFORE THE EVENT. That they didn't tells me they're either a bunch of phuck-ups or they decided to take a shot and hope the favorite won.

1 Love - of all the people i told 1 person hit the line. Of the 2 other people 1 person contacted me because of the thread and 1 guy in italy. Don't assume this is some gang of friends because that is not the case. I even waited almost 20 minutes before telling ANYONE else about the line to make sure it didnt move out of respect to the book

1 Love as i said before i assumed Expekt/William Hill/victor chandlers. i have been proved wrong on the latter of the 2 but some place that takes parlay only had nadal +650 (halifax i believe posted it on MajorWager) so this proves that the line wasn't unreasonable.

As i asked before does anyone know if betbrain has a history? sometimes thats where i searched for lines that night

i think if you look at this situation as a reasonable man. you know what is right. why should it take so long to do the right thing.

i find it hard to believe that even if DJ is out of town that he does not call to check in. if the situation was explained to him it should take 2 minutes to fix the mistake.

all intelligent gamblers are looking for an advantage. areff found one and took it. i doubt anyone here will disagree that if he lost the bet there would be no dispute, they would take his money. so on the same token pay the man his money. then casa can fix the holes in their system
