Marco LMAO - you might have to trek out to the The Chicken Ranch in Pahrump to find her. Word to the wise, be careful what you eat.

I would prefer this buffet to well over half the casino buffets in the city.

Nothing compares to a pigout at Buffalo Joes, a hole in the wall fast food place in Evanston Ill.

Great wings. Waffle Fries w/ hot cheddar. Great flame broiled cheeseburgers.

CRAP. I don't eat that stuff anymore!

The best meal I've ever had anywhere was at Michael's in the Barbary Coast. Going set you back at least $100 a plate but you will never have better food or better service.

You haven't tried Vegas food until you eat at the Still or Rebel truck stop.

What about the Jacks or Better? Is that place still open? I believe it was on N. Lamb around Lake Mead or Owens.

In all seriousness, the Binion's Ranch and Horseshoe coffee shop were two of my favorites. I don't know if they're still open. Chicks seemed to like the Redwood in the California for the ambiance. Food wasn't bad either. I agree that Z'tejas is excellent. In-n-out for a double double fries and shake. That would hit the spot right about now. As far as buffets go, the Excalibur isn't all that bad. You have to remember 2 things: That you get what you pay for and don't go there for brunch. The Aladdin was my favorite. I can remember years ago when the Carnival world was the $hit but last time I went it was average at best. There used to be a bar called Mad dogs and Englishman or Irishman, I think. Their cheese pizza was excellent. They had hot women who wouldn't give me the time of day so I had to play a lot of darts. It had a similar environment as Cheers.

Mad Dogs closed a few years back, the soccer crowd moved over to the Crown and Anchor, which was rated (unbelievably) one of the top 10 restaurants in the city by the local paper.
The atmosphere there for soccer games, especially England games, is second to none. They ahve a wide ranging beer selection as well.

This is kinda sad, and alot of people think I am joking when I say this.

But, as of 2 years ago, I had probably been in 98% of the bars in the ENTIRE VEGAS VALLEY....as a patron no less!!

Having said that, best overall bar food would have to go to the BIG DOGS Hospiltality Group IMO.

Highly recommend the DRAFT HOUSE on Rancho.

Oh man I cant resist but add here. Theres Todds unique dining on Sunset. Excellent for a date and really good food. The Capital grille is the best steak house not named Ruth Chris. Jr Foodie wanna be's go to Simons in the Hard Rock.

I found a new fishplace callled Bonefish on Eastern, better than Landrys and a better atmosphere.

Soul to Soul cafe is by far the best soul food resturant I have been to in town. Certainly beats Hush Puppies.

True Old Vegas, The Top of the Hill resturant on Rancho. Note it aint on a hill and its in a house. Have not been in two year + may not be there still, if it is go.

Backup Old Vegas, Bob Taylors ranch house. Old Vegas with a mob twist and vibes still eminating all these years later, The Golden Steer Steakhouse.

Tillermans is still good as well.

Best gourmet value, that will impress a date and not hurt the wallet, the price fixe menu at the Four Seasons. 28 dollars 3 course and 55, for a 4 course. The bathrooms are a must check out there. Seriously.

Best place to have a romantic drink, the lounge in the Peppermill, hands down. Nothing like it exist anymore.

How could you guys forget Andres (downtown) and Pamplemousee. The Redwood in the Cal is the best kept secret. Make reservations at least a week in advance.

Best Ice Cream by leaps and bounds, Leatherbees on Sahara. Better than Hagan Daz and served in a old fashioned setting.

I could go for awhile.

Best chicken wings, Putters on Pecos.

Just have to add my 2 cents ! First off I want to say that my wife's favorite Restaurant was always Tillerman and She has lived here for about 30 years but the place has new owners and has gone way down hill. We went there for my wife's birthday last month and a lobster tail was $ 69.95 ! It sucked !Best Buffet is still the Seafood Buffet at the Rio which cost $ 35.95 but is out of this world if you like Seafood. Don't be fooled by going to the World buffet as the Real buffet is tucked in the far S.E. corner. Amlee,s is by far our favorite Gourmet Chinese Restaurant and it is off the strip on Sunset and Sandhill. I took Redeye and Woof there and they loved it ! Costa Del Sol in Sunset Station and Billy Bobs at Sams Town offer top notch food also. I think the Nine at the Palms is vastly over rated as it's spendy yet noisy. Michaels at the Barbary Coast is the best I have ever dined at but very spendy and I have heard from a very reliable source that since Michael Gaughan has now purchased the Southcoast that He is moving Michaels there. Lots of other great places to dine like Hugo,s and of course for bargain hunters, don't overlooked the $ 4.95 Steak special at Ellis Island.
