This is the Rubber Room, right? I can say whatever I want?

Ok, then.

I piss on your fake god. Even if I believed in him, I would cheerfully burn in hell before I worshiped that lying, jealous, violent murdering cocksucker.

... and the "Holy Spirit", whatever the fuck that is, can suck my dick too.

...and Jesus H. Christ is a f.ag.

1. I've never read about Jesus lying, being violent or murdering anyone. Human beings murder, lie, and are violent...not God.

2. The Holy Spirit...well...you'd have to believe to experience that, so I can't help you there.

3. This third comment is simply absurd.

Since you obviously don't believe, I'll simply wish you the best, and hope that one day you get to find out what life as a believer is like.

Best to you!

Hey it's the Rubber Room. Don't be hatin on that Cracker fella.

PS, just to play devil's advocate here...

"I've never read about Jesus lying, being violent or murdering anyone. Human beings murder, lie, and are violent...not God."

Aren't we all supposed to be created in his image?

Valid point Jake. The answer to that is:

Yes we are created in his image BUT we are given free will as to whether we desire to live that way. Kind of like Adam and Eve....created in the image, but didn't listen, lied, and were banished.

Don't want to turn this in to a religious forum, but wanted to enlighten Death a bit. Hopefully he'll find his way one day.

Have a great night.

Tony, I have a question. If you had been born in Afghanistan, what is the probability that you would currently be a Christian?

Excellent. All these Christians can't deal with the fact that their religion is based almost entirely on where they were born and who they were born to.

Again Death, I have to disagree with you.

Countries like Afghanistan have militant groups that attempt to surpress Christianity, and still there are many believers.

In Afghanistan alone, you have radio stations such as Radio Afghan (christian based), TV programs like "Voice of Christ Afghanistan", and many other groups and ministries.

In Iraq, there are nearly 1 million Christians.

So, where and who you are born to doesn't dictate belief, but it does impact how open you can be with your beliefs without fear or retaliation.

Again, don't want to turn this in to a preaching thread, but wanted to make sure we have some facts to base opinions on.

Also, let's suppose that you are right and I am wrong about Christ...does that really hurt me? I will have spent my life working hard, helping others, and being a friend to my fellow humans. What harm comes of that? But, if I'm right and you are wrong...you may have a much larger issue to deal with.

Take it easy and have a great weekend.

Tony:

No one said where we live dictates what we believe. But it sure does make a large difference. Just look at the percentages of Christians in Christian countries and the percentages of Buddhists in Buddhist countries, etc.

As far as what if you are wrong about being a Christian, you are missing out on opportunities. Also, guilt and shame have caused many a Christian life to be miserable. I can't say if it's that way with you but I've seen thousands of Christians who were miserable because their beliefs lead them to be miserable.

Let's go with this example:

A young boy is born in China to Buddhist parents. He is never exposed to Christianity and lives a good, moral life as a Buddhist.

Based on what you believe, is this boy going to hell when he dies?

Fantastic point...I think Jesus was a misunderstood Buddhist,
Better yet had he been in India and declared I am the son of God, someone would have looked at him cockeyed and said 'of course you are...we all are...'

Quantum:

I can see your point, but I don't take it anywhere near the extreme to where I am miserable or miss out. I have seen the people you are talking about and you are right, they are miserable and that is way to extreme.

I go to church and am involved in the church, I work hard, try to help people in need, and try to be a nice person to everyone and a good friend and husband. That's enough in my opinion to be a good person.

I still play cards with my friends, we still go to the strip clubs for bachelor parties when one of us gets married, and I have fun. I definately don't miss out on opportunities (unless you consider cheating on your wife, doing drugs, stealing, or things like that as opportunities...these things I don't do).

Excessive religion can become fanatical, and that is no good either. Moderation is the key.

Religion is a waste of time. Im going to have to go with Bob on this one.

Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights!
Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights!
Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights!
Get up, stand up: dont give up the fight!

Preacherman, dont tell me,
Heaven is under the earth.
I know you dont know
What life is really worth.
Its not all that glitters is gold;
alf the story has never been told:
So now you see the light, eh!
Stand up for your rights. come on!

Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights!
Get up, stand up: dont give up the fight!
Get up, stand up: stand up for your rights!
Get up, stand up: dont give up the fight!

Most people think,
Great God will come from the skies,
Take away everything
And make everybody feel high.
But if you know what life is worth,
You will look for yours on earth:
And now you see the light,
You stand up for your rights. jah!

Get up, stand up! (jah, jah!)
Stand up for your rights! (oh-hoo!)
Get up, stand up! (get up, stand up!)
Dont give up the fight! (life is your right!)
Get up, stand up! (so we cant give up the fight!)
Stand up for your rights! (lord, lord!)
Get up, stand up! (keep on struggling on!)
Dont give up the fight! (yeah!)

We sick an tired of-a your ism-skism game -
Dyin n goin to heaven in-a jesus name, lord.
We know when we understand:
Almighty God is a living man.
You can fool some people sometimes,
But you cant fool all the people all the time.
So now we see the light (what you gonna do? ),
We gonna stand up for our rights! (yeah, yeah, yeah!)

So you better:
Get up, stand up! (in the morning! git it up!)
Stand up for your rights! (stand up for our rights!)
Get up, stand up!
Dont give up the fight! (dont give it up, dont give it up!)
Get up, stand up! (get up, stand up!)
Stand up for your rights! (get up, stand up!)
Get up, stand up! ( ... )
Dont give up the fight! (get up, stand up!)
Get up, stand up! ( ... )
Stand up for your rights!
Get up, stand up!
Dont give up the fight! /fadeout/

Knew this would develop into a religion debate. :ohno:

But do you honestly think you are cool or hip for saying this? If you don't want to believe in God, that's your decision, but there is absolutely zero reason for this. You're pathetic dude. Hope you turn it around someday for your own sake.
