There are some obvious problems in churches and organizations. Many false gospels are preached everyday. You and many others are correct when you pick up on the fact that many of them are about money and control.

The Bible warns against all kinds of false gospels and false religions. Faith is a wonderful thing, and it's very comforting to believe that God will be with anyone who seeks him.
Believe me, I've given thought to about every possibility of truth. The only thing I knew for sure was that there was a God of some kind. I've tried the world, and it cannot satisfy. The richest people having the most fun, like Tom Brady and Tiger Woods.....they are searching for more. Tom Brady said this exact thing on 60 Minutes last year. After deep thinking and searching for a lot of years, I believe that Christ is who he said he was. It still comes down to faith, but there are many reasons to believe. Not all Christians are mental midgets, DEAC. Many have walked through a long period of doubt like myself, and came out of it believing.
