Whose fault is it that their will be two seperate bashes then ? Why is their so much defending of the RX being classy about refunding the money ? The money is not the issue here for the last time, the issue is, not having everyone together at the same time for just 1 Bash, not two. Go back to the drawing board and redo this thing for August and I think most of us would pay for the rooms or at least a decent amount of it.
Yes, I was also trying to figure out what caused the change in plans from the original date ? I live here in Vegas and my wife works in Hotel reservation at Circus, Circus. She would be the first to tell you that the summer months are the slowest time in Vegas unless you are planning on staying here around the Christmas Holidays. As anyone knows the heat can get 115 or higher in July and August and Vegas is a place that most people want to get away from ! I am getting mailings every single day offering rooms at a fraction of the winter rates so I am wondering why the Flamingo is playing hardball when more then likely there will be empty rooms through much of the hot summer months.
There is a 75% chance that I will still be at the first bash if I am invited still. But I wont be able to make it to Vegas at anytime during Sept. This might still work out for everyone.
I met BigTex at the bash last year. I know that he was in Vegas for a good week and didnt have a problem paying for his room.

Seriously. It's gonna suck not being able to see you, RED EYE, WOOF, and others again this year...last year's Bash was a wonderful experience.
And I doubt there are going to be any quality-organized events for the August crowd if the official Bash date is in September. No real motivation.
Been looking forward to seeing everyone again pretty much the minute last year's Bash ended, in particular the West Coast/Midwest guys, since it's much harder to see them than it is people out here in the East.
But at the end of the day, the Rx is going to do what works best for it, as it should. Just means some of us are gonna be shit outta luck this year.
BS, they are not willing to pay for both dates for the RXer's for both dates. They are not even inviting you to the first bash unless you bought your tickets before the change, you need to read their posts again. Your are not even invited to the August Bash even if you pay for your own room. PO 69 has asked about that and no one has bothered to officially give him an answer and he is not the only one waiting for that answer.
Those of you defending the RX seem to think it's all about the Benjamin's.
I like the RX, i always have. That's why i really don't post anywhere else. Please don't question my loyalty to the Rx. It's just that i see questions being asked and no official answers coming but i see the same people stating how much money the RX is spending.
I hope everything works out for the best. It just does not look good for those that won't be able to make it in Sept. and had made plans for that Bash.
